I found this routine, and after all my searches on this website I did I could only find threads about 4 weeks of sheiko. Anybody tried this for 13 weeks? How was it?

That routine was written by Dave Bates, not Boris Sheiko.

You're welcome to try it. The first four weeks are ridiculously light.
Here's a spreadsheet I made with all the Sheiko training cycles I've found online. 29 and 39 are decent intro blocks.Last edited by ChaseT; 01-04-2009 at 10:38 AM.

a Sheiko routine is no more than a wave-loaded form of periodization based on prilepin's table of volume/intensities.
To answer the original posters' question. The 13 week routine is great. I know many who have done the equipped and unequipped version. Dave Bates is brilliant, and very open-minded with his work.

LOL.......I just found this program and just finished the first week....I read thru your journal and was going to ask you about increasing the weights cause I felt the BP and DLs were too light but the squat was spot on. I'm going increase the BP by 5#s a week and DL by 10# until I I'm comfortable.
PS After they crucified sickonstorm about sticking to the program I wasn't about to ask in an open thread.Happily married father of four and grandfather of two and one on the way. Edit: Grandfather of 3 as of 02/28/2009.

Ah I see you've updated it Chase. I haven't seen 39 and 40 before. You've mentioned 39 is a good intro routine, what is 40 tailored towards?
edit: Holy ****! Just scanned through it, that does look tough.Last edited by SoaringSwine; 01-04-2009 at 08:04 PM.
