Yup, he did play DT some and of course there was the LB experiment.

One thing is for sure, if Robison's production drops off Griffen will play a larger role.

Looks good to me. I think Honey Badger is worth a shot in the 4th or 5th. Ogletree is defintely the most physically gifted MLB in the league and Austin is a freak. That would be a great draft.

Honestly I don't see why we wouldnt pick up urlacher for a year or to. Even if we get some someone like ogletree or minter he would be a perfect mentor and wouldn't hurt the cap could go one more year without a DL but the fact remains our CBs cant get the jjob done. First and a second rd pick for the kid from Alabama

Ehhh .. I like Trufant more anyways, and Rhodes even more, but he's probably not getting past the Buc's at 13 (unless they close on Revis here)

We have similar types of fixtures in Australian sport where a team will voluntarily play in a different city, region or even overseas in order to try and tap into a new market & advertise their brand.

The draw is that they're heavily compensated by sponsors & the league. It's often a ploy used by sports team who are financially struggling as a way to boost their revenue.

Given that there's only 8 home games a yr (+ 2 pre season home games), it's fairly big sacrifice for any NFL team to make. If I were a local fan, it'd definitely p*ss me off.

I think the league is in charge of scheduling so I don't think they get a lot of choice. Not sure if there is really any financial benefit because the teams will be losing money on ticket sales and revenue from having a home game. There may be some compensation to make up the difference but I don't think they benefit financially from playing in London. I think it's just more of a promo thing that all teams have agreed to participate in in order to expand the international market.

For what they paid to fix it you should be able to park a tractor on it.

Thinking about possible FA signings I starting to think the Vikes are done for the year with any meaningful signings. I'd to see Dansby but I don't see the Vikes having cap space for him. So I think the most likely situation has the Vikes taking a MLB in the draft and they'll be the day 1 starter.

I like Kevin Minter the best as I've said, I think he's London Fletcher type. I also like Ogletree who is probably the best overall athlete in the MLB group. I think either of the two would be good picks in the 1st round.

I like Te'o and Kevin Reddick as 2nd rounders. Te'o is likely to be a early to mid 2nd round pick and Reddick mid to late 2nd round.

I was hoping to have a vet in there but I think if we have to roll with a rookie I'd probably take Minter over anyone because I think he's most ready to start.

I personally would like to see Ogletree if he falls to us. I definitely agree that we need one of those early picks to be a LB. I dont trust Audie Cole out there

Cole seems like the type of guy that will make a great special teams player and back up LB but I'm not convinced he can be 3 down starter.

You can have Jennings, Packers have enough recievers, and an MVP quarterback! (be nice to me. I think Im on the wrong thread!)

He has some moments, but I agree hes better suited for special teams. Its not like Brinkley was soooo good last year. If Cole was capable of being a 3 down starter, I think he would have taken the job
