What happened to the "ceasefire"?
MIKE TYSON: "When you see me smash somebody's skull, you'll enjoy it."
"I try to catch him right on the tip of the nose, because I try to push the bone into the brain."
"It's ludicrous these mortals even attempt to enter my realm."
"I can sell out Madison Square Garden masturbating"
"I'll f**k you till you love me f**got!"
"I just want to conquer people and their souls"

According to this guy and some of the responses, there was little we would have been able to do in this situation. especially not with the minimal amount of troops we had over there, and widespread support from the turks on this campaign. Looks like we are buying a little time in good faith to get our nukes out of turkey. It's not trump's fault that he's having to clean up a disastrous foreign war policy that has been in place for decades, but at least he's doing something. ending US occupation and foreign meddling. Good Trump.

I suspect Erdogan will have to be slapped around first. His forces are going to have to hit stiff opposition on the ground, preferably from not just Kurds but Syrian army also.
Until the Turks suffer a bloody nose or two, they'll keep on pushing. The Syrians and Kurds need to send more Turks home in body bags, and not just the disposable jihadi types, but actual Turkish troops. So far the Turks have faced little opposition, explaining why they're so cocky.

Well...essentially EVERY SINGLE expert on the issue has clowned the Orange Menace for his typical idiotic, no thought move. He consulted no one and he only retreated after a phone call from Erdogan. Are you not embarrassed in the least on how much praise he heaps on tyrants like Erdogan? It borders on infatuation and crush and is pathetic to listen to. Meanwhile these tyrants laugh in his face and do whatever the phuk they want to do anyway. This moron move, the result of a single love call from yet another tyrant, will lead to the rise of Isis or some other extreme ME group who has yet another reason to hate the US now.

I think Trump and Putin planned this deliberately to sucker in, then screw Erdogan.
Trump encourages Erdogan to invade and orders our troops out.
Putin and Assad roll in to Kurd areas immediately, stopping Turk invasion before it has even accomplished 5% of its stated goals.
Trump gets Erdogan to slow his offensive (the "Cease Fire" currently underway). Thus more time for Russian, Syrian and Kurd troops to move in and block Turkish advance.
By the time this cease fire is over, Turkey won't be able to push any further into Syria because he'll be blocked by Russian and local forces in large #'s.
Erdogan will have to pull out or face war with a mostly-unified Syria and Russia itself.
It looks like they tricked Erdogan into this invasion. He performed his role of pushing the Kurds to rejoin Syria, but in reality he got played and won't get his "Safe Zone" without a big, ruinous fight. Erdogan must now choose war or withdrawal from Syria in defeat. Turkey won't be able to push all those Sunni "refugees" into Kurd lands now. I guess now they can all go to Europe. This is win-win for everyone, and we know how much Europe loves muslims.

This is objectively factual, however blue in the face screeching liberals get will not change these facts. Obama created, armed, and strengthened ISIS to powerful levels under the guise off helping "moderate rebels"; I remember his speeches like it was yesterday. Scumbag was denouncing them on TV while pumping weapons into them behind the scenes as fast as he could (through Benghazi btw). The most traiterous, snake of a President in modern history.
This is objectively true and has been for all of history; Leftism is authoritarian by nature, it is the root of their power and ideology no matter how hard they pretend to support democracy.
