Coming from a former hunter, a lot of dudes who hunt are fat fuks and would get the chit kicked out of them without a gun
You’re not real hunter unless you’ve physically fought and stabbed what you’re trying to kill
Always wanted to wrestle an alligator or just some wild ass animal
The only thing you can use is a sharp stick. Nothing else no knifes or pussy gun
Never get the rush of some fat beta provider feeling more alpha after shooting an animal lmao. I’d feel more alpha if i killed it with hands and a stick.. but not a gun

Hunters aren’t alpha unless they kill a deer or alligator with stick and hands

Sry boyo I’m a human not a stupid animal.
I mean I’ll snap a rabbits neck and butcher it. But I’m shooting any animal that would have a chance of injuring me, because I’m smart. Not like I give two ****s about being “alpha”. I just want to kill somthing and harvest it’s corpse then enjoy making it taste delicious.

I don't know it's like saying why didn't the Anglos use spears instead of guns when fighting the Zulus. We have civilization and technology, hunting isn't a physical competition like it used to be. We can make clean kills that don't cause unnecessary suffering with a basic rifle.
We don't need to demonstrate superiority over animals and make things harder, possibly leading to unnecessary suffering. Technology allows us to make difficult tasks more simple, freeing up time for greater things. Wrestling alligators does sound pretty badass.
I'm especially impressed with the polar bear because it can easily overpower a man with a gun, people who live among them have to accept that a one-on-one encounter will likely lead to death. That is definitely an animal that is not yet conquered.Beans. Cleans. Gasoline.

Predators intentionally pick the easiest prey with the biggest reward and use their full arsenal of "weapons" so I guess the predators aren't alpha either. You know like the lions and wolves and pretty much every single apex predator.
Most animals think this way. Spend 1000 calories trying to catch an animal then get injured and die from infection or grab a quick snack and only spend 100 calories.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_decline

Most of human history falls under hunter/gatherer societies. In the grand scheme of things, agriculture and civilization is a recent development in the human career. If we did not domesticate animals or invent tools to make things easier, we would still be hunter/gatherers without the progress of civilization and technology.

Unless you're a Bible Tard we probably spent 200,000 to 500,000 years depending on the theory of how old H. Sapiens are.
To be honest modern society and civilization has given us great things but also complicated chit a lot. Dating was probably easier and family / tribal structure was probably very fulfilling hence the lack of technological development.

It's mostly fundamentalist sects that interpret everything so literally in the Bible. Like the book of Genesis is an allegory for the advent of agriculture and civilization, the domestication of nature. America was founded by people like this called Deists. I don't buy into the notion of the noble savage, maybe things were more simple but we had the same problems and less means to deal with it.
I do think a lot of people in my country have lost touch with their roots and their ancestors. White people here for a large part don't even realize they have ethnicities and tribal ancestors with distinct traditions and cultures. We are just so fixated on material things, maybe that is the price of modern civilization.Beans. Cleans. Gasoline.

Agreed. I would go as far as on foot bow hunting being the top of that ladder.
Hunting with a rifle for anything other than using everything of the animal (which is essentially a few months worth of meat) is just ego. Like shooting 5 elk/kudu ect but end up only taking half the meat and the head is pathetic.
Also those who hunt without following initiation. You eat the balls/ovaries, the liver and the kidneys of what you hunt or dont hunt you pussy.
(exception can be made for pest species like warthog which have bred to the point where they destroy the environment, which is actually a man made problem in the first place)Athletics > Aesthetics
I guess its time to start training again.

Hunting though isn't about ego or rituals. It's about harvesting animals for the things they can provide, same with plants. It's a way to live off the land and be in harmony with nature, not to feel tough or look tough. Knowing your way around a rifle is a useful survival skill.
The ego is making something more difficult than it needs to be just to fulfill some personal satisfaction of doing things the hard way. We have laws around hunting animals a certain way out of respect, because it's sadistic to not make a clean kill. Hunters have respect for nature and are often responsible for taking care of it.
If that animal gives you the food/clothes/tools you need to survive, then you are naturally grateful to it.Beans. Cleans. Gasoline.

That's why I always respected bow hunting the most. It's the most 'fair' hunting can get.
And it still falls within your rule set, Opie. Since by shooting an arrow, I am technically killing it with a stick.

Good post.
There is a certain type of person who goes out with the boys, sits in camp and drinks beer all day, and stumbles around trying to find the biggest rack to throw multiple bullets at in the hopes they hit it so they can drink more beer, and brag about how large their dicks are.
Those people need to develop incurable bowel cancer.See BrianDaMans sig.
