Reason being, I went to Costco today and got their giant plastic bag of spinach, and after getting home realized the entire back of the bag has tiny holes in it for ventilation. I washed the spinach and then blended it in my vitamix before drinking. Would liquefying the spinach kill it the virus?

I picked spinach that was towards the back of the stockpile so I doubt it was coughed on. Only worry is if it rubbed against anything like other grocery items, the cart, checkout lane conveyor belt, etc before coming home.

There is a study floating around that says like 24 hours on cardboard, 2 days some other things, 3 days on plastic and stainless steel I think it was...but also that temperature and other factors matter...then there's the sars-cov-2 RNA round on surfaces in the cruise ship 17 days later, but doesn't say if that means it was able to infect or not...coronaviruses generally are known to be relatively hardier 'out in the world'...the whole fomite thing is still kind of an uncertainty (Birx said something to that effect just yesterday [Mon])

you can try washing them with soap, but i don't know if that would ruin them or not. stuff like apples, cucumbers, tomatoes, pears, etc. is usually easy to wash, but don't know about leafy plants.
