Any thoughts on cruise LEAPs or just buying the stock? CHGG has been on a run since last time I mentioned it. Makes sense because every university is online. Cruises seem to be burning money but I've seen them advertising cruises to nowhere. One airline sold out on a flight like that.

Eventually . . . some cruise stocks will bounce back big. The virus will die down and/or there will be an effective vaccine and treatments. People are already getting "rona fatigue" and will want to get out and about again. Trouble is, what will "eventually" turn out to be and which cruise lines survive?

You'd have to think that CCL, which caters to the younger crowd, would be one of the first to come around whenever that happens. But when is when? If you're patient, probably not a bad idea to buy and hold. But that might be another year or two. I wouldn't doubt it doubles at a minimum sometime, but you'll likely be waiting awhile. Kind of the same thing with airlines. I thought about picking up some CCL when it was down around $8 but still haven't. Have some airline stock that I'm already going to be playing the waiting game on and I don't know if I'll put a little in cruises too. Not sure how much I want to bank on the "eventually game".

I know you trade options a lot, but am curious about your position on writing options during “sideways” periods, as theta and IV crush would work in your favor.

Only thing I do is straight up calls or puts, with short expiry dates.

Spreads and naked are too risky.


I track option flow for what I am interested see where the volume is.

Take tiny bets.


At moment I am holding 25 contracts of AMD. (CALL AMD 10/30/20 85)


They have new graphics card coming 28th. Earnings tmmrw.


AMD option flow looks good bullish and seeing their earnings are after close tmmrw, I can hold all day tomorrow.

Its currently up 55%.

I think intel chitting the bed will actually be a springboard for AMD. AMD will at the very least meet their expectations, and that will be enough for people to shift their faith into it. I think it will beat, but we shall see.

Colorado getting locked tf back down. Midwest still on edge of hospital care capability. Deaths aren't a huge deal, but preventable deaths will be when people are getting less than adequate care.

To retail investors it doesn't really matter. To fund managers who went a little too hard into equities because of perceived safe-haven and need for return they must rebalance quickly in the face of mounting concerns.
