I have searched on the internet and found answers ranging from 400-900 calories in a lb of salmon. Is there a site or app that I can trust to calculate calories accurately? I currently use myfitnesspal.

Ingredients, cooking method, & species make a huge difference: https://www.drbodygadget.com/calories-in-salmon/. Look up the specific type of salmon you’re hoping to eat & factor in how you plan on preparing it for best results, OP.

I still use fitday and have hundreds of custom foods added for this reason. Depending on the type of fish or cut of meat ie. skinless vs skin on or boneless vs bone in or farmed fish vs wild or choice vs select or 0"fat trimmed vs 1" etc etc the list goes on.
Using google to find the most accurate representation of the food I'm prepping then adding it to my fitday custom foods is what works best for me.
This is most certainly farmed so higher fat.Control group crew membership revoked 7/5/2022 1:50pm PST not proud.
