A lot? Got OJT once because an inmate told me he was suicidal and I offered to toss him some razors. He told on me to the mental health doc lol. He just owed a debt and wanted to get off the yard.

I mess with them all the time, but a lot fck with me back (in a humorous way) and I don't get all pissed so it makes for a fun day.

I'm a dick, but I'm fair and I can take a joke back. Most like that I'm consistent, all day every day I'm a dick so they know what to expect. The most disliked officers are the ones who are officer friendly one day and an ass the next.

From time to time, a handful live in town which is funny. Never had any problems though, just an awkward look then we just ignore each other.

Funny story from last night. We had a guy paroling out of the building I count, so I need to wake him up at 0430 to be ready for when the 0500 count clears, then he will be escorted to Receive and Release to do the paperwork, ect.

I'm a dick, so I woke him up at 0015, on my first count and told him "Hey, you know you parole in the morning? Cool, be ready at 0500 and we will escort you to D yard (we are on A yard); we need to quarantine you for 2 weeks before we can release you due to covid, it's a new policy. So you stay in D 5 until then"

He goes "Aww, what? My family is coming today, can I call them?"

Told him "Nope, sucks for them, and you, but whatever, be ready at 0500."

Let him sit there all butt hurt for the night, and at 0500 we took him to R&R and told him when we got there I was fcking with him. Got called a douchebag and laughed at him when I walked out.

I love doing that tio all the parolees. Funny reactions.

He told me if one of the inmates was giving him a hard time he'd stop by a lake and find a frog/turtle/snake and throw it in the inmate's cell. Most of the inmates were city fellas and would hop up on their rack and beg to have it taken away.

Lol, here they'd keep it as a pet, dude on B yard somehow tamed an owl, we kept making him let it go but it would fly back to him every time. Not a big owl, maybe 6 or 7 inches tall but it was still bad ass.

Starting tomorrow I’m going to break press and bench-press into a light day (Mondays) and a heavy day (Fridays).

I just haven’t been recovering from two heavy days per week.

Hoping that in a few weeks I’ll be ready to resume two heavy days per week.

Working sets are in the low-rep range. Lately, four reps per working set. The target has been four to six reps.

I was in that range and have decided to give 10 reps/set a try for the next 5 months. Feels pretty good so far, but definitely a change avoiding heavier weights.

IDK about that kind of scope.

I do know that there are just way too many optic choices for a typical AR type rifle, or similar. Options are great don't get me wrong, but it's so hard to pick and I want one of everything. So. Many. Even if you narrow it down to one specific sub-type, still tough to wade through the options

How much is a Minox ZP5 these days? I have it bookmarked on my computer but can't check from work because it blocks the link.
Unfortunately, I suspect it's close to Khales and Vortex. I'd search on SnipersHide for reviews and comparisons. Might also find a deal on something used, although that's a good market so probably not the lowest prices on used scopes. Given COVID, you may find someone unloading something nearly new that you like. Only aware of that level of scope because I was considering picking up a Vudu 22 and a 18x or 25x scope a year or so ago. That's on hold now.

Swung by Big 5 yesterday while shopping just to check ammo, nothing, almost nothing anyways. Only a few odd calibers, no 9mm, .40, .45, 5.56/.223, 7.62, .308, 6.5.... only 2 shoguns left on the racks. Not surprising I guess.

If you have a 2K budget then just get the razor Gen-2 E and save the rest. I’ve been looking at LPVOs heavy and I don’t see the point in spending more than Razor money.

Personally I keep going back to the PST Gen 2, but my budget is a little lower.

I've got a burris rt6 and it's acceptable. Definitely some blurring on the edges and some waviness. I'd pay a grand for something that doesn't have that tbh. I've got a cheap $350 nikon that has practically perfect glass, so I was not happy to see the aberrations in the burris.

As ikeman previously said, lvpo pricing is just on a whole nother level.

I posted about having a hang fire ITT a few weeks ago from some steel cased ammo on a friend's 19x. I assumed bad QC and stiffer firing pins on some steel ammo, but it happened again on the same gun and same ammo. He went out to the range with an instructor, and while the instructor was handling the gun it fired almost a second after pulling the trigger. Scary chit . Turns out the guy who owns the gun replaced the firing pin spring with something extremely light and it was bent. This was his EDC, too.
