Yeah and with alot of HS seasons being pushed to the spring there are also HS SRs opting out and enrolling early. Overall going to be a super weird recruiting season and highly unlikely CFB season.

To pour salt in the wound I talked to my wife about cutting the satellite finally and she was all in since CFB doesn't look like its happening (she likes it just as much as me) but she said we have to find a way to get the kids channels my son watches. After doing some math keeping the satellite will be cheaper than getting all the individual streaming deals but swapping from direct over to dish with a different package. I'll still save about $100 a month so hopefully I can use that money to buy a used Taurus to appendix carry that'll hopefully nd, blow my dink off and let me bleed out to end my suffering

Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed. I say college football goes full rugby and creates a similar "6 nations tournament". Ireland, Scotland, Italy, England, France, Wales.

It's funny actually. I pulled that top 6 from my head as for who the "power houses" were from memory. Then I checked the ap polls top 6 and those are all the same teams.

Seriously though, if Adam Silver was like "commissioner of college football" i bet you he would be on board with this. The "bubble" concept for the nba games and having the fans video feeds projected on the inside of the arena was ingenious.

Since this covid chit is likely to be wrapped up within the next year or two, it wouldn't make sense to double down on new tournaments but i think that would be an amazing concept to get a season out of the remaining teams that are playing.

A "Champions League" made out of conference champs or recent national title winners.

Then you could build leagues off old rivalries or something.

And out of the 60+ CFB games on every weekend during the season, almost 1/2 them are like 3 TD's favorite mismatches. Would be sweet having a round robin of 16 teams. 2 losses and you're out.
