Amazing as it is, CA's "gunmageddon" bills in 2016 basically made 3 million law abiding Americans instant felons. Most did NOT register their bullet button ARs as "Assault Weapons" < barfed typing this > but those Americans in CA are at serious legal peril if caught.
Oh and also @Ikeman83 -
Old man is a retired FBI agent with ARs. CA Law says I CANNOT inherit his ARs as they are "assault weapons" - NO FAMILY TRANSFERS. Guess I need to move before he dies.
Freedom right?

So that guy with the AR and his wife with the little pistol, the "protesters" aka dangerous criminals had broken down an iron gate and were in fact on the private property of the armed couple whose family was outside having dinner at the time.
Also it appears that CHAZ security/police have killed (murdered) [executed] an unarmed innocent 16 year old [black] kid.
Do they riot on themselves now? What's the protocol for that?

After our carbine classes I wound up buying my K18i and needing to remount the wife's K16i, my K18i, a set of irons, and a new K525i loaner.
The LPVOs and MBUS Pros did what was expected, but god damn, if you want to get into Precision Rifle get a Tikka T3X Tac A1 and a Kahles K525i with a Spuhr 20 MOA MountFlorida Crew as of 3/21

Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

yeah. Just a ruger charger takedown. 10" barrel, came with bipod and 15 rd mag. Added brace adapter, brace, 3-9x32 scope, 30 rd mag. Assume you could do the same minus the HIGH CAPACITY mag.
have read there've been issues with opticsplanet (don't remember specifics), but might order from them tonight. At this point I'm content with long wait time as long as my order doesn't combust in a mail truck.☆ MissChill Appreciation Crew ☆ Owner ☆ Σ ☆

Just popped in to say you kunts were right all along. The last few weeks have proven the police can be utterly useless and the government won't send the national guard in to restore order if chit hits the fan because it may make them look bad with voters.

The S-one is OOS now but they have the R-one.
Really good and excellent priced option there. Anybody who wants an 11.5 upper right now, can't go wrong there ^
Or if you want to premium it up a little, have at it ^. Like twice the price for the 'same thing' but it's BCM's new hotness so you likely won't regret the extra cost (plus the rail is 1" longer)

The autonomous zone has been there what... 3 weeks or so? Maybe a month? They have already managed to gun down their first unarmed black guy. Maybe that whole law enforcement thing isn't as easy they thought.
Still can't believe how crazy and out of control things have gotten. I remember when just a couple months ago the left was arguing that the (actual) peaceful protests in Michigan were so dangerous and violent and there's no way they should be allowed. A month later and the left is literally destroying property, burning down buildings, shooting police, murdering innocent people and the people who are being criticized and condemned are the people who defend themselves, show a willingness to defend themselves, or just don't quote verbatim the correct way of agreeing.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.

Yeah . . . they kept saying Chatfield, but it was actually on the east side of Santa Fe and burned literally right up to the street that sets the back edge of Backcountry. If those homes had been right on the greenbelt instead of having that road as a buffer it would have been even more sketchy.
Grabbed a pic from the live stream when it was on. You can see where the fire stopped right at the road. That subdivision is basically all homes between $400k (fewer of those) and upwards of $2m. Lots of $500k - $1m places in there. Pretty open path of dry brush/trees right up to the HS, too.

Hoops to jump through? Fill out the application, get passport photos and livescan fingerprint cards done. Mail it in. Within 60 days they schedule in person interview. Do interview then wait a week or two for your license to be mailed.
ATF can only inspect the portions of the licensed premises used to conduct business, which in my case is my garage. So they can inspect the garage but not the home. IOIs don't really care about what you have personally. They want to see your 4473s for the last year and your A&D book, and make sure you have on hand the serialed items the book says you do.
They can come once per year unannounced at any time during the business hours listed on your license application. My hours are by appointment only every day except Sunday, when I am "open" from 1201 AM to 401AM...
My FFL renews next month and I have had zero inspectionsMFC

LOL.
IOI that did my initial interview was laughing about the hours I listed. She said "So you really don't want us dropping by unannounced do you?
Me: Nope. Nothing to hide, but this is my house and my family lives here. No problem being inspected just give me a heads up and i'll clear my schedule and have all the paperwork ready for you.
Her: Anyone coming to expect you would be coming from Hartford, CT so I'm sure they would call anyways before driving 6 hoursMFC
RIP YGST
