    jeans/shorts that fit good

Does anyone know where I can find shorts and/or jeans that are made to fit someone with large thighs and a fairly small waist? Levi's 560 was a good fit until they stopped making them. I tried Levi's 559 which don't fit quite as good. Every other jeans I try on have to have a waist so big in order for my thighs to be comfortable that they look like a clown outfit. Shorts are another problem. Ordering online just results in me having to send it back.

Any pointers/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not jacked or anything, but I’ve always had large thighs relative to my waist and struggled with pants. Yesterday I walked in a store in Copenhagen (they’re online too and ship to the US) and got some fantastic trousers. They’re stretchy without looking like tights, and look/feel fantastic.

Shapingnewtomorrow.com. No commission or anything, just really happy with them since I put them on this morning.

Incidentally, I went with their standard narrow fit - you’d have to be really heavy to need their relaxed fit.

try "thai fisherman" pants, or "budda" pants. Also under names "harem", "siam" etc. I just came back from Bangkok with a few pairs, diff styles but same thing. A lot of room for oversize jеwеllеrу and rather small waist size. Sort of a modern gallifet style pants. Not jeans though. Thank me later

I know the problem too. You and me both... we're not cool-kids.

All the cool kids have got legs like chopsticks and wear extra slim pants usually in slightly stretch material in black to make their stick legs look even thinner.

Just get the next waist size up and wear a belt. Shop around, there's no magic answer unless you want to stop squats and become an upper body only bro?

Levi 541. "athletic cut' and made with stretch fabric.

I have decent legs, not crazy huge and am fairly lean and they fit better than any pants I have found.

The just work for me. I do buy one size up in the waist and wear a belt. Thighs are a little tight when I first put them on after a wash but the stretch nicely. Of course you cant wear 'normal' boxers since they would bunch up. I wear stretch athletic briefs underneath.

If your legs are much bigger than mine, these might not be an option.

    My legs for reference.

Another Levi's style worth trying is 550. Roomy in the thighs but then tapers to the ankles.

American Eagle has stretchy denim in a variety of styles, including straight leg rather than just skinny. They don't look like jeggings.

    Hope that helps.

Stretchy stuff is good. Doesn't last forever though, especially on thic thighs. I got duer jeans, comfy and fit nice, but kinda pricey and don't seem to last as long as they should for the price. But I ride my bike in them too much so that doesn't help the longevity.

I posted here earlier, but wasn’t very serious. It didn’t click in until yesterday. Anybody tried dress pants lately? I am not talking jeans or work pants. I can tell you, this is getting moronic. I went to 5th avenue and all pants they carry have a cut for a very thin thighs. And no arse. None of their pants they carry would fit average-built person, not even a manequin in their very store. That manequin is actually naked on a display. My legs are small, I am not fishing for compliments. I am aware that jackets and parkas have a room for beer gut and 12” arms, I could accept some funky ghey jeans, but dress pants?

In case there are language issues, by "dress pants" you mean the sort of thing with a business suit etc?

I buy the next waist size up and get the waist reduced. No other way to get them to fit unless you've got money for tailor made.

I gave up on wearing pants that don't have any stretch. I'm one of the lucky guys who stores a tonne of fat in their glutes and thighs instead of on their belly. If km wearing pants that don't stretch I tend to hate my life when going up stairs or getting in and out of the car.

Yes, I mean those, I thought they are called dress pants. Reducing waist is no cheap either, and there is waiting time too. Whats up with this “slim fit” craze. I went to store for grab and go, didn’t want to make a project out of it.
