Was just looking for my link to that bar the other day. It was actually on my list and I love the collars. That design is really what I want as I prefer it to pipe bars (though I own a Crepinsek SSB so I have collars for it already and I know all about the wear).
Going to try the slim combo for variety as you said. Still want a new power bar so we will see where it goes after that. If the football grips get used exclusively I might swap it out.

Update to my previous post above, I went ahead and decided on Mech's belt squat as a gift to myself with my family chipping in covering the other half of the payment as a gift.
I'm thinking of going with Rogue's multi-belt for the sake of more comfort compared to Spud Inc's version.
Any thought, or opinions/comparisons between the two? Appreciate the feedback.

I have the multi belt (and Mech's belt squat). I like it. Really comfy. I have a spud dip belt that I like too so pretty familiar and I've used some leather versions that WSB used with their's. I like the comfy Rogue one. I'd do it again. YMMV of course. All are good enough and none suck.

Awesome! Thanks for the info and confidence on the Rogues comfort and durability as well.
Does Rogue have any worthy sales on Black Friday? I'm wondering if I should just drop the coin on the multi-belt now, or wait until Thanksgiving weekend to see if they briefly discount it.
I know Spud usually has a decent Thanksgiving/Black Friday discount code from the previous years when I got a few things from them.Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 11-17-2019 at 05:53 AM.

Not really familiar with what sales are like today but Rogue only used to offer shipping deals. If you already have the belt squat and you aren't getting anything else from I'd just order it as there's some chance Black Friday volume boogers them up with delays too.
I've been real happy with that setup. Great way to add volume to legs without frying your posterior chain. Honestly, I couldn't be happier and it makes me smile every time I look at it.▪█─────█▪ Rogue Barbell Crew #27 ▪█─────█▪

Great to hear, I like to add volume and have another way(s) of hitting the legs while not having to add gargantuan leg machines to the home gym (since I'm quite limited on space and have no room for them), so the portable belt squat was refreshing to see available and I hope to get a ton of use out of it...plus it's nice to give the back a rest here and there from regular squats.
The more I think about it the more I think I'm leaning towards the Spud belt squat belt (not necessarily due to the potential holiday savings, but because I was always impressed by the quality and integrity of their straps and other gadgets).
I'll surprise the thread with whichever belt I land up going with soon lol.

I ordered myself a 28KG kettlebell a few days ago off Walmart's online marketplace, my second from the Diamond Pro brand, they are about $1/lb with free shipping, that is not a Black Friday sales special, but rather their everyday price, however they aren't always in stock and it finally appeared back in stock this week after being out of stock for a month or more. That will probably do for awhile, likely my only holiday fitness purchase. They have nice KB though it would be better if the sides were more spherical instead of having the flat sections.

Got an email on Tuesday with Vulcan Strength's BF offer:
HOW IT WORKS
Many items have “locked-in” discounts. Other items are qualified for the “tiered discount”. The percentage discount applied to the “tiered discount” items is determined by the total dollar amount in your shopping cart. The greater the dollar amount in the shopping cart, the larger the discount applied to those specified items. The tiered discount percentages and the corresponding shopping cart dollar amounts are outlined below. Every item in your shopping cart contributes to the total dollar amount.
Tiered Discounts Price Ranges
7% ⟶ ($0 to $1000)
10% ⟶ ($1001 to $2000)
12% ⟶ ($2001 to $3000)
13% ⟶ (3001 to $4000)
14% ⟶ ($4001 to $5000 [At $4999, Everything Ships Free]
15% ⟶ ($5001 + [Everything Ships Free]

In the past, yes. Things get so hectic for them though that BF orders were taking considerably longer to ship out and QC was subpar. Last year it culminated with an insane flash sale on the Ohio bar that crashed their website and produced a flurry of very angry/disappointed customers on social media (cart froze during last step of checkout, checkout completed with discounted bar in cart but customers charged full price, which was 4x the sale price, etc.). Consequently, this year they have broken up their BF sale into a Black November sale and are doing pieces of the sale a bit at a time over the month.
REP is doing a BF sale. Titan is doing a Black November type of thing like Rogue. Titan's BF sales for most items aren't great anyway. They do sales all year round like Kohls so for most items there isn't a massive price break during the holiday sales. I usually snatch up what I want when they're doing 15% off as that's about as good as it gets on most items.

C123C and Duplicitous, thanks for the heads up on Rogue, I went ahead and decided/ordered their Multi-belt (I figured you can't beat comfort and I like the fact that you get many adjustment sizes for different size lifters just in case).
Aside from belt squats, I want to test the belt squat attachment with a triangle cable attachment for Tbar rows and see how it feels.Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 11-23-2019 at 01:09 PM.

Earlier this year, I actually sold off a lot of “extras” from my home gym to free up some of the clutter (bumper plates and their horizontal plate storage, landmine and landmine accessories, full sized deadlift jack). I thought I’d miss the stuff, but I am really enjoying my space a lot more now that I have ample room to move around.
I’ll only be making a couple small purchases this year. Grabbing a Rogue curl bar, dead wedge, and another captain of crush.

You'll like it. Stupid comfortable. I love Spud too as their stuff is rock solid but I'd go with way again.
Never considered using the belt squat as a t bar row. You'd have to face out with it and not sure if plates would interfere with stance. Definitely worth a try though. I might rig it up myself though I do have a cable low row already and generally just do Barbell bent rows.▪█─────█▪ Rogue Barbell Crew #27 ▪█─────█▪

Well, another Fitness Black Friday, another strikeout for me. Last year after the BS experience with Rogue (who is local to me), I was excited to try Rep this year, but that was a fail, too.
1. Titan has actually raised their Farmers Walk handles by $16 since about a month ago.
2. I had the Elite FTS Dip Station I wanted in my cart for a nice sale price of $262, but then they wanted $135 shipping and handling. That's a negative.
3. Had the Rep bench in my cart for $30 off and was looking around at other items on their site, but we all know what happened from there.
Spent and saved quite a bit of money on next year's auto racing season instead.||---|| Rogue Barbell Club #18 ||---||
