    Is Omega-3 supplement woth it ?

    Hey, i have a question. I eat fish 1-2x per week, some walnuts so i have some omega"s 3. I never used it as supplement, but a lot of ppl are using it. I know about benefits, but i saw a lot of videos and articles, where people are talking about it, and they say if you dont use a lot of it, then its pretty useless. I found on internet that 250–500 mg combined EPA and DHA is recommended dosage, but for bodybuilding benefits, people using a lot more. In my country its pretty expensive supplement, so i dont want to waste money if its useless.

    My question then is -> should i use omega-3 supplement with that recommended dosage, or its useless to take if im not taking it plenty ? The daily dosage of this supplement that i have is 1200 mg omega3 (EPA 400, DHA 600) is it worth it ? Thanks

    I never saw a need to supplement for omegas, I just eat chia, flax, and chunk light tuna once daily. Never caused me any problems.

    Would you suggest supplementation for someone who doesn't eat fatty fish?

    I despise the taste of most fish. Grew up in a desert so I never ate any growing up, and when I did it wasn't very fresh...

    Its a supplement.
    Use it as such.

    If you are not getting those EFA's in your diet then supplement
    Alan Aragon, Brad Schoenfeld, Stu Phillips, Lyle McDonald. FTW.

    Not a physique competitor but hope to compete in powerlifting next year. Max bench 1RM with pause 160kg. 352lbs.
