For me, it's not about panic mode. I've been cutting for 5 weeks so far and still steadily losing. I just want to speed the process up a little bit. Intending to run psmf for the 12 day duration then switch to a maintenance diet for a bit. If I get where I want at that point, I'll stick to maintenance and if not I'll return to my slow cut.

    Here's my two week shot

I'm not very photogenic nor do I pose at angles for the best shot. I forgot to take a before photo but use my progress photos for the 2k15 transformation in my body space for reference except add several bf% points.
I went from 177.8 to 169.4 as of this morning.

I'm hopping on the psmf train in less than two weeks. I'll take pictures when I begin and end, as well as get my younger brother to take pictures as well (if he's comfortable) so I can deliver.

I've had better results cutting on higher calories. this 800-1000 calorie thing might give your organs more rest time (compared to digesting 2500 cals per day) but in conjunction with working out the lethargy is too much

Cheat meal-papa johns large pizza with grilled chicken, Canadian bacon, and Roma tomatoes
    2440 calories
    68 g fat
    6880 sodium
    296 g carbs
    120g protein

Probably won't eat it all to make sure not to go over my fat require, eat and I'll drink tons of water to get rid of so,e of that sodium. Think imma start the category 1 tomorrow as the cheat meal seems to be mainly mental and I feel fine throughout the week.

Is it true that the body gets rid of stored glycogen first?
So if i were to eat 200g of carbs, i'd stop losing fat for a day of two till i get depleted again?

Liver stores are totally depleted after a 24 hr fast but lipolysis is also very high so the body is tapping into both, muscle stores are spared by the body so you could better chase down your next meal back in our caveman days.

Yes I believe so because it takes less work for the body to use that stored glycogen than say fat stores. At least, that's my understanding (which could be wrong)

he knows what he's doing but actually as close to 0 in fat and carbs as possible. A carefully selected whey, egg whites, tuna in water or chicken breast basically.

whey can keep you hydrated but it digests fast so you'd need some frequency with it
honestly casein is probably a great option for psmf.
Guys who are only doing a 2 week cycle could enjoy those low cal version rtd muscle milks which have a perfect profile but...$$

Edit: are you guys saying you won't lose fat on a high carb diet? because that's untrue. Its just harder to do.

I wasn't saying he didn't know what he was doing. I was just questioning how much fat was in them because most almond/soy milks have fat to them. I'll pick up a casein to use when I do this.

I'm not saying that you can't lose fat on a high carb diet. As we all know, as long as you're in a deficit you'll lose weight. I was referencing the question about stored glycogen being used up first and then fat stores once gone as that's how I understand it.

Which I agree with. Not sure why we're getting wires crossed here but it's cool!

I wanted to make sure I didn't go too far over 50g of fat. I ate all of it anyway lol. There's no room for cupcakes in my gut, don't think there will be for the rest of the day either.
