    This.

    And this

Going to keep everything in this thread now, I have threads all over the place. I still have a 2x3 rack thread that needs a final photo (guy told me it would be a while) and that sissy squat I have to finish. Then I'll just dump all the photos in here.

Bottom brace, chinup bar, top brace. All round tubes go through the side plates. All welded using same jig so I know they're all exactly the same length.

3/8" on this build, and usually. It's rare I go 1/2" although I have some for some stuff. My rack mounted rev. hyper use 5/8" thick in some places, as an example.

Never seen this kind of heavy-duty spotters being diy'ed before. Still trying to wrap around my head how sorinex style spotters function.

Never seen this kind of heavy-duty spotters being diy'ed before. Still trying to wrap around my head how sorinex style spotters function.
tube has a pin on each end that goes into a hole on the rack in the corresponding post, then you turn it and the L shaped piece you see on the right side keeps it in place and from rotating. much less cumbersome than the rod style, one of my projects I have planned for my rack.

Here's one installed (missing plastic protection).

Also, to be fair, I don't think I can count it as DIY when I probably use as many (or maybe more) tools than actual manufacturers. Apart from robot welding and dedicated setups, I'm not sure they have anything else I would need. Case in point: 2200 tons, 40 feet long. Although it's at a supplier, it is the largest one in this country.

Awesome rack and awesome plant pictures. I've been awed by a visit to a local spiral pipe making plant(huge pipes) but that wasn't on the scale of this.....My rack has safeties that slide in with pins on the end but no flat piece that wraps around the upright to hold it flat. That means the flat tops can potentially rotate around but it doesn't really affect safety in my opinion, just annoying.

2x3 rack almost done. These are not the final bolts/nuts. Just what I had laying around.
As a side note, this rack, with the lower brace, does not need to be bolted down (unless using crazy band tension).
