Could it be an early Pendlay HD bar? I’ve never seen that endcap on a Pendlay, but know of no other ‘HD’ bars.

Hm... the only 'fake' split sleeves I've seen look like a normal inner portion of the sleeve with a groove ground in it. I've never seen one where the appearance was exactly the same as a vintage...

The top bar is, not the second from the top. The 'fake' split sleeves do not have different diameters between the inner collar and sleeve.

I can't ID the bar, but I would be a buyer at $160 if it were near me. I've been on the hunt for a 29mm center knurled split sleeve for a while.

I have a pair of 5lb DP USA plates. Deep-ish lip, fairly good quality castings. Very similar deisign to other vintage ‘square spoke’ plates.

I passed on a MINT 1980s York power bar because I had bought a Rogue B&R 2.0 and a super clean York 28mm split sleeve the same week. I regret it terribly as I am now on the hunt for a split sleeve...

There are a lot of very rare plates out there that were cast in small numbers by small foundries. They aren’t all that cool or interesting, but no doubt are very rare.

Are they painted metal with rubber rims or solid rubber?
