    Apps like myplate and myfitnesspal already have a feature where you can locate a menu item from various food places (or scan a barcode) and it will give you nutrition info and log it for you.

    How do you know exactly what you're getting...

    How do you know exactly what you're getting though? Estimating macros with any real accuracy just by looking at a meal will always be all over the place. You don't know real ingredients, amounts, etc.
