Take this seriously and rehab it until you feel no pain whatsoever. There is always upper body to train and don´t do anything to aggrevate the knee just let it calm down fully and return to strongman...

Damn man, I hope you don?t have what I have: Jumpers knee.. It started out small, and I just braved through it until the pain became unbearable. Got a MRI scan done and turned out I have a micro tear...
Patience my friend! I will do real pulls in april.... I?m taking no chances with my knee. :) So until then its massive core strengthing time:D
