Curious - describe further. Where exactly - what kind of pain? Burning - stabbing - pinch? When during the movements do you get it?
I like them for arms. Lets me maximize my time. In regards to safety I don't think there are any issues other than the usual things to be mindful of when lifting heavy objects.
Do you hold a plate across your chest for extra resistance or go with bodyweight?
