Admittedly I've been absent from this site for a while but since when do we have to pay to read all of the articles or workout plans of the bodybuilding website?
That was a great read! Very informative!
I guess you can say cutting is a secondary goal. I really just want to get back to where I was in terms of strength, and I'm hoping to lose some of...
Hey guys,
So I'm getting back into working out after almost 8 months off. Life got complicated and I wasn't in a good place mentally or emotionally (and physically too I guess) and that really...
Would work, except this person also happens to be my girlfriend, so touching or kissing after eating would kill her. I could wash my hands and brush my teeth after eating, but if I touch something in...
Hey guys,
So I recently started living with someone who is highly allergic to nuts of all types, can't even touch the counter if there have been peanuts on it. I used to enjoy almonds and peanuts...
Is it over rated or does it actually have health benefits?
Usually I eat whatever I feel like, as long as it's something I cook. There are times where my work schedule doesn't allow me to cook, so I'll eat a healthy choice steamer or some chunky soup. As for...
Imo, don't use ratios, it's an old school way of doing things. Just hit protein and fat minimums, fill the rest of your calories with carbs and monitor your progress. If you aren't progressing the...
Should OP be counting his calories/macro's at such a young age? Not being a d**k or anything, I'm genuinely curious if the fact that OP is such a hardcore athlete makes a difference in tracking and...
My responses are in bold:
Beat me to it. All you need to know is if what you're doing is working.
Do more research. Tbh, you're always going to want to do quality research. I've done research on everything I've read/been told on this site, and not just google. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed and...
Mis-read it, but yea, too much protein. More is not better. Caloric range seems decent but the ratios are way off..
TDEE takes into consideration rest days. No need to alternate caloric intake.
You're 16 you don't need to diet. Just workout, eat when your hungry and make sensible food choices.
Meal timing is a myth. Caloric intake is way more important than when you eat. Experiment with different times and patterns to find what works best for your schedule...
So...:
1406/4= 351.5g of protein?
794/4= 198g carbs?
and 0g of fat?
You are not doing this right. not even close. Go read the stickies, esp the one labelled calculating calorie and macro...
Dude seriously?:
Stop trying to justify eating more than you need....
It's not a scam, it's just how society works. Everyone hears that "doing X of something does you good" and they automatically assume that more is better. They pull out all stops, see progress for the...
There bare minimum. I know that I will not stick to a cut if my carbs are to low, I straight up lack the self control necessary to do so. There for my protein is as low as it can be to help me...
