    I have 0.7 mm rubber flooring and on top of that 10 mm heavy big rubber mats.
    When i do deadlifts i also put extra rubber tiles on the floor.
    But i train in a garagebox...

    When i had spinlocks i loaded it with 50 kilo's or more doing pullovers.
    If you want more safety buy longer handles so you can use 2 lock screws each side.
