if I could go back before I went to boot I would workout everyday, not giving myself any rest no matter how sore. In boot u are co tinually uncomfortable and sore. This will prepare u for that....
I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure the whole idea of the program I'd to increase strength on the big bb lifts. So, I think u should stick with the plan the way it is described and keep it simple.
