You're right. I have the N/narrow. I was thinking the C meant compact, not cambered. The non-narrow version would likely be too wide in my opinion, which some original reviewers complained about.

Could they fit inside of a large plastic rubbermaid type tub? Throw some of those moisture absorbing silica packs in the tub to deal with any humidity?

I use Reebok Nanos. You can usually find them for around $50 shipped when new models/colors get released. Just keep an eye on deal sites.
