    Thanks for the encouragement.

I'm finding that while I 'feel' small, I *look* bigger now that I'm a little leaner. Perhaps that illusion will get even more pronounced as I drop more fat.

    Some...

    thanks!

You've spoken to the exact sentiments I've had about losing any weight over the years: feeling small and skinny whenever I lose a few pounds.

Thanks very much. I got as big and strong as I could in my 20s, so I took advantage of my youth to build the ‘base’.

I should add that I’ve been intermittently fasting since February. I do...

    Powerlifter decides to cut.

    I've posted on here occasionally.

I mostly lifted for size and strength since 15 years of age. I competed in powerlifting meets, set a state record some years ago in bench press (WNPF) as a...

    New Progress--17.75 inch arms (cold)

I've been on and off these boards for many years. Recently I just made some new progress in both size and strength. My upper arms now measure 17 3/4 inches (cold). This is a gain of 1/2 of an inch on...

    Side Triceps-lost 12 lbs.

Just lost 12 lbs. It was definitely time to cut, I was much too fat. I'd like to lose another 5-7 lbs., bringing me into the mid 170's. I'm currently 180 at 5'7.

    Arms are 17 cold.

    Lifetime drug-free.

    5'7 180 lbs

    17 inch arms, cold.

At one time, I achieved a legitimate double bodyweight bench press (gym lift). 330 @ 165.

Takes a long time of hard work, but it can...

    Thanks.

Zepa, Your signature quote hits a great point. When someone is very skinny, there's only one way to get big and strong. Heavy training and heavier eating. The things I had to do (eat)...

    Years of hard work!

I found an old photo of myself when I was a junior or senior in High School, and it stuck me how the years of training (drug-free) really changed my physique.

Mind you, in this before and after...

We can respectfully disagree. Bodybuilding is a subjective sport. Looking at the middle back area, Heath's appears thicker to me. Greene's appears wider.

This is not like 'either the...

Both Heath and Greene have outstanding physique. Our problem in choosing is that they are both very different.

Greene's arms are like robby Robinson's: short but peaked biceps, sharp triceps.

These guys really brought it. My non expert opinion, Heath has great illusion ability. His arms remind me of a blend of Sergio oliva's long bellies with the conditioning of Coleman or wheeler.

Thanks. I didn't want to cut down at all either. The only thing that prompted me to cut was that I was having some adverse side effects of being that heavy. I was snoring a lot, I was out of breath a...

Lost 20 lbs, arms still 17 inches cold

About two months ago I decided I needed to lose some weight, since I had bulked for too long. I was 200 lbs. at 5'7 at my heaviest, with arms that measured 17 5/8 inches cold.

    Now, I am 181 lbs....
