Perhaps increasing fat will fix your problem. The recommended minimum is 0.4 gram per lb.

But are you sure you should be cutting at 146 lb?

Ah. Was it in the shoulder that you serve and smash with?

Enough volume to make progress. Achieving 6x70 shouldn't be hard for you, in theory.

If you can improve your bench with 2 x 4 sets...

Why? Did you have any problem?

Not necessarily. Bench press alone can be fine but you'll need to do enough volume.

You also don't need leg press for bigger legs. Squats alone can be enough.

It's definitely possible. You'll have to bulk slow though. Probably not more than 1 to 1.5 pound weight gain per month. And train right of course.

Well as you probably realised already you were eating too little. Let's see how you do on your new diet.

Recommended fat minimum is 0.4 gram per lb. More is fine too.

I expect you can go straight back to 2300 and then slowly increase to reach maintenance.

Yes it will be far better for your health.

However, the amount of fat you gain is more a result of the size of your surplus and the quality of your training.

I don't know, maybe he's just a beginner who first heard the old myth that you must bulk to gain muscle and now doesn't know what to believe anymore.

    That seems rather slow.

At how many calories are you now?

No that's not how it works. In fact one could argue that cutting further than this sets you up to gain fat back quicker.

I would ease back in to maintenance and then adjust calories when you need...

I see zero reason to continue cutting further. I would start a long and slow bulk. Gaining ~1 to 1.5 pounds per month, not more.

Good job on the cut. 5 kg in 40 days is quite impressive. Did you...

I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case.

Or perhaps the genetic test he took told him so. Alternatively it was one the common quackery allergy tests.

Yes. A beginner with higher body fat can do it very well. The more advanced and leaner one becomes, the smaller the potential to do so.

As you may already know even lean people can do it....

I think that's a fine routine. It may lower your risk for prostate cancer.

It should still contain plenty of vitamins and minerals too.
