cigarettes how bad are they for bodybuilding? i smoke maybe 2-3 cigarettes a week and ive seen bodybuilders like markus ruhl smoke i dont think it really matters

I'm planning on competing this july and i was wondering how its divided up? Is it by age or weight? It's my first time so it's kinda for fun and to get a feel for it, but i wouldn't mind doing well....
