just eat healthier or less of what your eating....going to a shake plan is never a good idea because you can never keep it up forever. short term fix's don't work, do something you will be satisfied...

I'm 165 also trying to cut down to 150 eating 1700/day with a 150prot macro and fill the others with whatever fat or carbs i have room for (always above 60g fat though). I also run about 2miles/day...

As for the protein id sit around 200 or so on maybe a low 2kish macro...you can always go lower if you can handle it physically/mentally... just try and keep the protein...
I'm having the same thing but I'm also noticing more phlegm buildup in my throat during the day so its allergies imo... not spitting it up or anything just feels thicker in my throat/back of tongue...
