+1 on the drop-in love. I use a massive drop in rack and to get around the 3" spacing issue Mech made me some nice flip-over safeties for 1.5" adjustments.

Well the chalk options are basically the opposite of what your gloves were doing. They help with grip, while your gloves hurt your grip, but help with callouses.
