Pretty sure the bottom of the chest pad acts as your knee hold down for doing lat pulldowns. I would get that piece if the movements felt good. Seems like a great dual unit.

Power rack, bench, 300 lb Oly set. Much safer than the extremely short "safeties" on what you are considering.
