Sold 10 covered calls on PLTR before earnings 2/16 19.5 strike, absolutely sick to my stomach right now

Sold half my shares, used that money to buy 18.5$ puts and used the rest of my shares for 21$ covered calls, momentum might carry PLTR to 25$ but eventually it will be back to 15-17$

Every time I sell a put the premium gets reflected in my cost basis when I get assigned the shares instead of me getting it right away, is there a way to change this?
