They are very heavy, 3/4" thick.

Right now I have CAP plates, you can get them used for $0.50 a pound or less. If I ever come across Ivanko plates I'll sell off my CAP plates and them.

Mine was delivered via Freight and not from FedEx. I doubt they're going to bring it upstairs for you. The boxes are big, heavy, and an awkward shape.

Mine was delivered at the side of the road. My driveway is 1/10th of a mile and I didn't have a dolly. The boxes were to heavy for me to get a good grip on and carry in so I cut them open at the road...

You could get some resistance bands and use those or a pair of the adjustable dumbbells which would fit in your truck.

The stack is 450lbs. It's too far to drive and try out. I passed on the unit.

I would definitely do it. I use mine for pull downs and think it's a good piece of equipment, then again I only paid $150 for mine. I've also used the bench press feature on it and like that also.

I have that unit and really like it. I also have the PT power rack though. If you don't mind the leverage system vs. free weights I say go for it.

I'd say $0.50/lb is a good price.
