As far as I'm concerned my neighbor can go without the latest TV if he doesn't work. But I wouldn't really want to see him die of cancer because he can't afford treatment.

In the UK we have "free" healthcare. Obviously it's not really free as it's funded by taxes.

It's not a perfect system and it's getting worse (under funded and badly managed with collosal waste)...

Good luck, I had what sounds like a similar injury after lifting a heavy garden slab. For years my back was never right afterwards. Then when I started on the weights I injured it again doing barbell...

    For me, it depends.

My weight stalls easily. At the moment I can't get it any higher, and I'm struggling to eat any more. So if I went 400 or even 800 calories more than normal for one day, I...

I don't know what to say really... I'm 40 this year and in the best shape of my life. Partly thanks to this forum dispelling half the myths out there regarding training and diet.

For years I always used dumbbells. It was a long time ago though, so I can't remember if it's because I could feel dumbbells better in my chest, or if I just couldn't be bothered to ask for a spot...

I don't think it's tedious. It becomes second nature. I've been doing it for 2 years, both when cutting and bulking.

Actually today when I weighed a banana my wife asked, "What would you do it...

I would say you need more mass on your chest overall. I had a similar issue - a combination of lower bf and more focused chest training got me the line down the middle. I now give incline presses...

I must admit my bodybuilding endevours over the years have typically led me to eat a crap ton of food, because food + lifting = growth.

Sorry to hear your story. But at least you can now see what...

It was mostly clean but did include butter, lots and lots of eggs, and the odd McDonalds. I didn't track a single thing so the 5k is just an estimate (I guess some days it was more, some was less). I...

With a photo, the angle always seems wrong, or the lighting bad, or I'm not flexing properly.

With a mirror I can adjust these things and then at the right moment take a snapshot in my mind's eye.

    I had 10 years off.

Been back at it for just over 2 years now. Not as strong as I used to be but I'm 12 years older, leaner and not eating 5k+ calories a day this time around.

    Good luck

Same here. I reinjured my lower back doing barbell rows. I replaced them with dumbbell rows, seated cable rows and chest supported rows and haven't had issues since.

I went from not being able to do a single pullup, to eventually being able to do 14. At that point I started doing them weighted.
