No like powder coat ran before it dried and then dried into pointy hard imperfections. Have the same issue on the multigrip pullup bar, pointy hard spots that dig into your hand when doing pullups.

My j-cups on the monster lite do not have UHMW on the inside, it is the same powder coat as the uprights. Upon further examination there seems to be pulls in the powder coat that are sticking out on...
