If you want a big/strong chest you have to do flat bench. I would also drop flies, a useless workout in my opinion and do dumbbell crossovers and/or cable crossovers instead.

I take a week off every 8-12 weeks depending on how my body feels.

As long as you dry them with a towel as soon as you're finished washing them they shouldn't rust. I cleaned up my ivankos about a month ago, and they're fine.

Yes, soap, hot water and an old cloth should remove the oil.
