    I like upper/lower as well. 4 day splits (splitting off shoulders)/full body routines don't work as well for me.

    If you keep the weights pulled up a little bit they really work your lats. I've had good gains, YMMV.

    Lat shrugs might also be fun to try.

    If you are cutting you might want to add 10-20 mins of cardio post lifting.
