Even though I'm new to the boards, I'm not entirely ignorant, so remember this before you stop mid read on this question.
I've been working out for a long, long time now (for me at least). I think I started at age 12, so that's almost half a lifetime ago for me. Yet despite being active and eating well, I have a problem with fat that I simply have no answer for.
You'll notice that I'm not a big guy (look under my username), so I get definition pretty easy. Unfortunately, the flip side of this is that there is not much area over which to spread out the fat. My father is a large man (5'9" 360 lbs) with a slew of heatlh problems relating to his weight, and thus my battle against obesity has been a constant struggle. I was a chumky kid, a fat adolescent, and I slimmed up around eighth grade. In high school, I lifted, played football, wrestled, swam, and sprinted for the track team; yet despite my constant activity, I was never able to shed the fat.
I have 0 fat on my arms, legs, and legs, and oftentimes I lose so much weight out of my face I look like a skeleton; but I have like a solid inch covering my entire abdominal region and my ass. That pluss I've always had some pudge in the pectoralis minor region.
I'm really looking for any advice you guys out there could give me, at least to get rid of the belly fat. I know you can't really spot reduce, but I'm thinking maybe there is something I've missed.
I've tried taking Hydroxycut with Ephedra, which worked great, but is now unfortunately no more. I also tried Xenadrine, which gave me horrible headaches and bad stomach cramps, leading me to discontinue after only 2 weeks. Other than that, I've stayed away from fat burning supplements. Please let me know if there is any product you think may help, as I approach the cut-up phase in my workouts.
because there is 0 fat on your arms,legs,...and there is fat on your abs,ass...try going for a high protein bulking for a month or so,and then cut using some great supplements+your fat burner and diet.

I am assuming the thinking behind this is that the bulking will lead to increased muscle mass, which requires higher metabolic conversion. Then this naturally enhanced metabolism is combined with a fat burner. Would this be your correct line of thought?
I've done something similar to this in the past, but what I did was a protein bulk with heavy lifting, followed by a stimulant cycle where I greatly decreased the ammount of time spent lifting and spent much more time on cardio. I am assuming you are advising me to maintain the lifting regiment (obviously coupled with some cardio) and not ditch it in favor of cardio. That way the muscle mass will be required to draw is calorie needs from the fat stores instead of atrophying to provide energy for the cardio.
Sounds interesting... I've read articles to this effect, but have not yet tried it. Please let me know if I am way off base here and you meant something different.

The stimulants help me too during a cutting phase. In a calorie deficit, I'm naturally more tired, less focused (have a hard time w/ that one anyway), and EXTREMELY irritable.
currently using hydroxycut, seems to be working, but also could be the diet combined with exercise. still unsure wether you can use a fatburner with a no2 product.
I dont know how to shed it. Its like im at this plateau. Lipo 6 didnt really do anything for me. Ive taken hydroxycut about 3 or 4 years ago. And I really dont remember if that helped. So, any advice would be great on a supplment not just a fat burner, but for energy as well. Im going non-stop from 5am-8:30pm when I just pass out. Thanks~ Meg

sounds like you're insulin resistant bro, most endomorphs are. Have you tried a low carb diet? They work wonders for endos.
Would it be ok to take lipo-6 and ZMA?

Okay, I loved the effects of Ripped Fuel back in the day. Gave me such a good feeling taken prior to working out. Taking the old ECA stack pills really helped.
But ever since it was banned, I never found something I like. I've been SCOURING THESE BOARDS to see who likes what best (ephedra-free crap) But now I see some posts from folks using ephedrine/ma huang.
How do you guys get that? I loved it and had no probs with it. Been looking all over.

Thats great...i used lipo 6 and didnt really see a noticable difference....im on redline right now...went from 172 or so to 169 in 2 weeks...not bad so far...and i feel anything when i take it and i take 3 in the am with food and 3 afternoon with food....the best one that worked for me so far was hyrdroxycut over a period of 9 months or so with diet and excersize i went from around 240 to 180....But im still looking for a good fat burner...

go with Lipo 6 Im taking Lipo 6 with 10-12 mg of ephedrine HCL i bought at a gas station
and I am getting good results, much better then from lipo 6 alone,
