More than 99% of US covid deaths in May were unvaccinated people. Pretty sad tbh.

In May, 2021, 150 deaths were to people fully vaccinated. Pretty sad.
At least people who are not vaccinated made the choice for themselves. Those others were let down by "science".
And for those who say "Yeah, but that's only 1 in a million" or something, that's PER MONTH - and the odds about equal to 12-30 years olds dying from the virus with or without the vaccine. So why push the vaccine among these age groups?
Overweight people are still at an increased health risk regardless of their deadlift numbers, straps or no straps.
Well, their dead lifting can lower the risk. Again I know a skinny guy who had near death health issues before a overweight guy the same age.

Got vaccinated as part of a work requirement. 2nd shot had my out of work 3 days, after 10 days lymph nodes remain swollen. At least the arm tremors stopped after 5 days.

Damn, that is brutal, what vaccine was it?
Of coarse dude, We need to be someone who are little concerned and woke for the people around us if not for us.
Anyone have their second shot and not have any side effects? All I am hearing is nasty sh!t.

Moderna’s reactions from what I’ve heard have been worse than pfizer.
I got Pfizer and so did my chick. We both were mildly sick - more like sluggish, felt like had a temperature but when using a thermometer, normal temps. Lasted a day and a half.

Plenty (older people) have had nothing more than a slight headache and some fogginess, which IMO is nothing. Mostly younger folks are feeling like total chit, and these are the folks who don't need this fuking vaccine.
I guess that's me, the younger folk.
Imagine the outrage if stores and workplaces gave out the same kind of bribes based on not being fat. SMDH
Good idea, free donut if you're not fat ;)
Good idea, free donut if you're not fat ;)
Why should donuts be associated with being fat? I haven't eaten a donut in years, yet I have no problems downing a double protein shake with a banana and several servings a all natural chunky PB.

Thanks for the update, glad you guys didn't have it too rough.
13 hundred fans who travelled from Scotland to London for their Euro match have now tested positive for covid 19. Public Health Scotland says almost 400 were at Wembley while they were infectious.

The UK will offer a third dose (as booster) to adults over 50 and clinically vulnerable people under 50 starting in the fall
What's the plan in the US?

Read something yesterday that said the mRNA vaccines would give long term protection and boosters may not be needed
The vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna set off a persistent immune reaction in the body that may protect against the coronavirus for years, scientists reported on Monday.
The findings add to growing evidence that most people immunized with the mRNA vaccines may not need boosters, so long as the virus and its variants do not evolve much beyond their current forms — which is not guaranteed.

My brother refuses to get vaccinated because he thinks it’s all a conspiracy and then he goes off on a political diatribe that makes no sense.
My decision to get the vaccine has nothing to do with politics. I just don’t want COVID and if I do get it, it may not be a severe case.

You cant reason with some so i stopped and am enjoying the extra O2.
I asked many people who have had it( all ages races and health conditions) and it varies widely.
I am not messing around with it since the reactions vary so much.
Someone told me a joke today, that gave me a chuckle. He asked, "do you know what the next bitcoin is going to be?"
"Unvaccinated sperm and ovaries"
Personally, I'm not going to bother getting vaxxed. My sister caught covid back in January, she's overweight, and eats out everyday. I couldn't even tell she was sick. She only had diarhea and muscles soreness, and got over it in 5 days.

Sounds like you got a few more brain cells than your brother. Be thankful.

From that article "...The results suggest that a vast majority of vaccinated people will be protected over the long term — at least, against the existing coronavirus variants. But older adults, people with weak immune systems and those who take drugs that suppress immunity may need boosters.."
It sounds like older people might need a booster perhaps annually, then again they might not, it's unclear. But at least it looks likely that most people who aren't elderly won't need it. Wonder if it can be added into the annual flu vaccination shot for elderly?

Yo Tommy, (trying to get in the habit of talking to you like Roco), again I'll have to bring up two skinny guys I've worked with whom suffered near death heart health emergencies, these guys worked physical jobs everyday, skinny as toothpicks, their diet = daily doughnut and chocolate milk for a.m. break, lunch pizza or hot dog and soda, not sure what they ate for dinner?
The slim = less health problems assumption or doughnuts make 'em fat is false, one of the guys was pushing 60, he had no stomach at all, slim with veins.
The big man I worked with used tell me everytime these guys suffered health issues (now big boy was not healthy eithier, but dude was a natural powerhouse) he'd say "see that, it ain't always us fat guys, those skinny guys got problems too".
Me, well I cut out my daily bagel and have lost 10# already, I'm still getting the same calories, but those bagels were HIGH in useless carbs, I'm not looking to loose weight, but get useful calories.

You cut out your bagel but get the same calories? Hmmm ok but NOT OK.
I ain’t no expert but if this forum taught me one thing - it is - eat more calories than you burn = weight gain. Eat less calories than you burn = weight loss

I replaced my bagel with a high calorie whey protein drink with milk, get it? But I don't count my calories, I just lift and eat and I eat big at dinner, I don't do all that BB stuff.
The 10# I lost is flab around the waist mostly the rear oblique's because all that bread was stored there, It's a tad noticeable to me, the scale and my wife actually said she noticed and I never said anything, I cut back on ALL breads too.
