This!
Thanks brother. The family is fine. Unfortunately we all got it. But we all recovered.
As of this year, and it's only January, one person we know has passed from it. He was a member of our church. He was 57.
It’s going along like wild fire. 3 people at work got it - from each other I think.
The one who got it a second time, she recorded, came back to work Monday.
Monday evening she couldn’t breath so her family took her to er. She’s got pneumonia! Now she’s fighting pneumonia and hasn’t gotten too much better last couple days.
Stay safe and mask up!!

If they are elderly and infirm or immunocompromised, maybe they need it.
If not... when does this end?
I wish I could go back in time and buy Pfizer shares etc

I read that last week and it seems that a few factors are in play
1. when you got your shot... it degrades after 3 months
2. your response to it, antibodies
3. what other weakening medical issues do you have.
I think they all get Pfizer there, so it doesnt last as long as Moderna.

Like the flu shot?
Listen, I'm in your side w/mandates being stupid, masks being worthless, and shutdowns needing to stop. In the beginning I was onboard with 2 of those but 2 years later we have much more data. IMO we need to accept the fact that this thing is with us and just open up completely. What I don't understand is why you, and people who think like you, give a fuk about what those of us that got vaxxed/booster are doing (same for those who care what the unvaxxed are doing - stfu)
So to answer your question I'll gladly get a yearly booster, just like I do for the flu. Not because I'm scared but because its inconvenient to get either of those. You are free to do you but at 70 years old I'd think it's in your best interest to take both, but in no way should you be forced.

What you mean enough? Some people get the flu shot every year. When are y'all gon realize that we are not afraid of the vaccine? Yes, flu is never ending situation.
I'm probably not going to get yearly shot as I never got the flu shot either in the past but who knows at this point.

Agree, with most of this. That said you’re fully vaxxed and seemingly had worse symptoms from catching covid than my wife who is fully unvaxxed. So boosters yearly or every three months, they are not working very well right now. Obviously there can be no arguments made on comparing your self described symptoms versus my wife’s. That said, vaccinations and hospitalizations for covid are both at record highs, so that is a larger sample size to draw conclusions on efficacy of the vaccines. They don’t work well, but we just keep going along with them despite the constantly moving goal posts on what they intend to achieve…I don’t care what anybody does, I’m a little salty about having to get vaxxed though, we have a mandate coming out for work, and my area it is mandatory for many places. I just refuse to spend money anywhere with mandates, despite being vaccinated. Not providing my medical info to go to a restaurant, gym etc.
Heard this morning that Pfizer, Moderna and others are looking at combining flu and Covid vaccines for annual shots.
Actually, not a bad idea. I have never had a flu shot in my life, but I will consider if the Rona shot is combined for the convenience.

Every year is less that 4X per year. But agree, you have to make your own personal medical decisions they shouldn’t be coerced. At your age, getting frequent vaccines for colds and flu might be advisable :p (kidding).

Wouldn't you have to be against the vax in the first place to have that mindset? I don't think people getting the vax are against getting the vax. LoL. But perhaps someone who felt forced into it may start feeling rustled by boosters.

Ya know...it's weird but I don't feel old at all. People ask me all the time how old I am but I don't know why everyone always needs to put a number. Like why? If you think you are young, you're going to look and feel young. If you think you're going to get sick, you will. It's law of attraction. I bet you you know folks in your life who always are sick or hurting and they complain. They cause it for themselves I truly think so. However, if you see someone who is "old" but never says he hurts, is sick or old, that person will look young!!

not sure if srs

I like pockets do it for others, who are not as fittness and health focused as i am.
It really isn't something that occupies a lot of time or thought, seriously.
Now i just throw on a mask and don't get too close to people, that's it.

I think we all care about the ones with differing perspectives as getting sick sucks no matter your opinion. It's interesting to hear peoples take on it though.
I haven't had as much as a cold since 1985 so my gut feeling is that my immune system is in a position to handle things on its own. I'm one of those that besides age, has the bases covered otherwise. It's feeling like things may be winding down and turning into the normal cold\flu season. The combo shot sounds like where things will end up.

Of course. It's a new product line.

i look at people when i am out and about and i think that you are amazingly unique.
I see a very sickly, overweight, possibly medicated population generally speaking.

Yeah especially when the booster shot gives you elevated liver enzymes and dizziness 3 weeks after the booster. :-(

Agree, watched a documentary about the “law of attraction” was interesting and seemingly true. Also met a chatty dude a year or two ago at Morton Arboretum (big outdoor tree / nature area). Anyway this guy started talking to my wife, kids and I about the park and how great it was to see a family out enjoying things like that. He worked or volunteered there just walking around miles a day and talking to people about the trees and attractions (giant wooden trolls when we were there). Anyway turns out the guy was 94 years old  he made us guess his age, but he seriously did not look a day over 60 and he attributed it to feeling/acting young and staying active (walking 5-10 miles/day). A lot of truth to that imo.

That's odd. What is their reasoning to be for the first two shots and against the 3rd?

Mine wasn't nearly as pleasurable as that looks.

.
4th, actually if it materializes which it may.

Ok, but what is their reasoning to be for the first three shots and against the fourth then?
