I know your question is directed to MT. For years I’ve been donating eggs to the local food bank. I’ve also been selling eggs at work and 100% of the proceeds go to local Allied Services who in turn help others offset medical costs.
Im not sharing this info to get pat on the back. Im sharing this info to encourage others we can do our part no matter how small.
The sad thing is that people who want to help others are also getting raped by gubmint who keeps taxing us while they print money out of thin air to use Ukraine as money laundering facility.
Just imagine how much more we could do for others if gubmint left us alone.

Actually I am, I donate what I can financially, in addition to that I do food drives, toy drives for Christmas as well as deliver for the Christmas Hamper program. I also donate and work for the local food bank, initiated a school breakfast program and donate a lot of my time to assist with the less fortunate.
just to mention a few. This is something that I have been doing for over 40 years.
I think my efforts are valued more, appreciated and 100% more effective than talking to an imaginary sky daddy but you do you, whatever makes you feel good.

I'm glad you're actually doing something you are passionate about. I work with some foundations and do some non profit work myself.
World Vision is just one "sky daddy" organization that is currently feeding over 3.5 million children in the name of said "sky daddy". Is that not enough?

What’s interesting is you’re saying exactly what the solution is and what the Bible tells us to do.
All the nonprofit organizations that I know of that fight hunger all say we have more than enough food.
The Bible tells those who follow Him that we are to help the poor and hungry. If everyone got on board with that, we wouldn’t have an issue would we? He isn’t the problem, it’s us.

The issue is what is the efficacy...? Benefit versus sides. Will it increase or decrease problems in population as a whole or decrease hospitalisations and deaths etc?
Even for the updated (bivalent) vaccines, the whole reason there's a spike is because whatever is going around can evade the immune responses learned from vaccination and previous strains.
Except for the very most vulnerable who'd be under doctor lead care - that's up to their doc on individual circumstances, more generally... what's the point of vaccinating people?
(As you've seen from previous posts, I'm not "anti Vax". Just no longer pro this Vax as circumstances have changed)
Growing list of health issues and death related to these shots that were mandated by our overlords (and readily accepted and taken by certain members of a fearful populace):
Myocarditis
Sudden Unexplained Death Syndrome SDS (it actually have its own abbreviation now)
Increasing numbers of cancers that are hyper aggressive (there's a medical name for these cancers that I just cannot recall at the moment. Do your own research)
And the medical community, in fear of protecting itself from government wrath and media attacks, is shirking its responsibility to dig into just how dangerous these shots are. At least the pharma industry has a strong layer of insulation from liabilty. (yes...strong sarcasm) For some strange reason, autopsy's are now at an all time low. Go figure.

I took 3 shots of vaccines back in Aug.'21, Sep.'21 & Jan.'22. The 3rd one was a booster shot.
Why did I took it? It's a reasonable and responsible thing to do, not just for me and also for my family too.
I know some even go for a 4th one. I can't help but wonder whether they took it out of fear or some measure of ego-boost. Or maybe both.
I know some elders took the 3rd one and suffer because of it. One of them had a minor stroke, and had to undergo physiotherapy sessions for a long time to recover. Thank God, she recovered quite well, all things considered.
As for me, I did felt some slowness in movement after my 3rd shot. But I took steps to recover, joining a gym fitness program, keeping myself fit.
Even though we have come a long way from the height of 2020 hysteria, I am grateful for the life lesson it brings and won't take for granted about my health and fitness.
