Oh she is a very intelligent lady that's for sure.
It's one big can of worms with so many loose ends.. Do you want someone leaning over you digging in your mouth, that isin't vaccinated and has been seeing unvaccinated patients? It's one thing to get a haircut or nails done for the ladies, but dental workers are right there in your open yap lol
I mean you are paying for a service and taking a risk, shouldn't you know the vaccination status of the staff? I think my friend did the right thing. I most likely would have done the same thing.
Personally, it wouldn’t matter to me one bit, because I have zero personal concern for the virus, none. They always wear masks though anyway, and the smart one’s wear a face shield too, so they are not getting chunks of plaque rocketed into their faces (gross).
In reality, sure someone leaning directly over you like that is certainly more “intimate” contact than random passings in a store, but the fact is, if that’s what was required to transmit this virus it wouldn’t have been a big deal or as hard to contain. Now with vaccinated people shown to become infected and shed just as much virus as unvaccinated, it’s still kind of a crapshoot. Need robot hygienist, or a water-pick some scalers and just DIY dentistry. Elective stuff is easy to navigate, first responders (police, fire, EMTs) have really low vaccination rates; don’t have much of choice in pre-screening with them though.
+ Edit to add, had I not had the virus, I would likely have some level of concern, even if I was vaccinated. It still wouldn’t be much based on the demographics of serious outcomes for me, but everyone has different risk tolerances and the fear mongering has been rather intense.

All the fire hall staff even the volunteers, cops and paramedics that service the area are all fully vaxed, they were 1st priority next to the vulnerable.
I wouldn't give a sh!t if it was just me either, I am vaxed because I have an elderly friend that visits if it weren't for him I wouldn't even be vaxed. All the precautions I take are so I don't give anything to him, with that said, if I am taking precautions then yes, I want to know the vaccination status of people digging in my yap lol.. My dental clinic is boasting all their staff is vaxed..Even the optometrist in town has a sign all employees vaxed. I think you will be seeing more of this and good on them

I edited my post above. Yeah, there are people who need to be more concerned than others and that’s a fact. That’s good on first responders. Around here in Chicagoland they are not happy with the vaccination status of first responders. Most already had it here though and are now immune. I think Chicago PD lost 5 IIRC, pretty sure there were 3-4 firefighters too. Probably many more in the suburbs I didn’t hear about. Many do not live healthy lifestyles, lot of obesity, stress, and hard livin in those groups around here.

Yeah I won't be checking on people's vaccination status, not going to happen.
-
Hy to all.
Usual topic around the world 😊
Sooner or late they will force us to get vaccine.
I took Johnson & Johnson 1 dose ttl.
Have a nice day
Stay strong

Soon you won’t have to, perhaps by fall we will have microchips, barcode tattoos or at least wear a big cardboard sign placard displaying our vaccination status. No admission to purchase goods or use the breadlines unless you carry digital passport with our papers as a backup in case our phone batty dies.

I don't approve tattoos!

Ok, I see the edit now, I am slow lol
Yeah, kudos to the first responders, part of being rural. They rally and support the community and the community really backs them up. I think seeing them roll up their sleeves at the outset paved the way for most to get vaccinated. Like they say, lead by example.
The thing is, in our region which is very vast, there has only been a couple of hundred cases since the pandemic started. since the middle of june there has only been 2 cases and that was outsiders visiting.

You will wear your penis shaped forehead barcode tattoo and you will like it. It’s for everyone’s protection, and it’s scienced out already, it’s what’s best.

tours over boyos.... DOD mandated vaccines..... fuark..... was only 2.6yrs from 20, almost made it

Yeah small town first responders are a LOT different in my experience (my dad is a retired FF from a small rural area). Big cities it’s not the same job, no “community” feel.
IMHO small towns with low infection rates that also have low vaccination rates will likely have a bad time at some point and likely overrun small town medical care options.
Hawaii is interesting to watch right now. They pretty much dodged covid until vaccinations were available, they are highly vaccinated (possibly top state), mask requirements china would be jealous of, and it’s just starting to smolder there.

Even Stevie wonder could see this one coming... I am sure you had a few vaccines by now, I know I did when I served..None of them were experimantal though.

It’d be stupid to throw that away. Can claim a religious exemption, even in the military. If my work requires it, I’ll likely just take it. I’ll lose my superhuman convalescent plasma though, not accepted from vaccinated people.

Will not get a tattoo ever, they are trashy and low class..besides my forehead is only 3".
You just have to take my word for it that I'm vaxxed :)

You bring up something I've found somewhat ironic this whole time. When someone joins the service they line up to take 100 injections that they can't even name or even care what they are and don't question a thing. Now we have a vaccine that protects against a pandemic and it's "well I am really concerned because what if this thing happens that makes no scientific sense because you know we don't have long term data".
-
Considering how fast we've gotten almost the whole country vaccinated..we are over 70% one dose and over half the population fully vaccinated, why are we so intensely concentrating on those few who for whatever reason are not yet vaccinated or don't want it? Yeah I know it's so and so many millions but it's a big country.

Politics. Everything these days is made into a crisis and people are manipulated into taking sides so that we are all at each other's throats. The media manufactures stories and takes a side to further divide us and makes billions doing it. We are all suckers.

LOL, don't get fooled by "sleepy Joe" and politics in general, they are the biggest party animals in the world.
Look at Ted Kennedy, drinking and driving and the parties. I still say Justice S. overdosed on that hunting trip. The Biden family are all crackheads.
Me - I'm a political trader by day, at night I'm at the Disco Tech snorting meth dressed as Elton John!
BTW, I don't like tats myself, none for me!!!

We are like soulmates, we both like meth and hate tattoos. If you only could stop talking about politics and politicians as I don't know who they are. I do know who Elton John is doe.

Agree, I’m ready for full open. Ample opportunity by now to get vaxxed. If there are people dying in the streets it might convince a few more, but otherwise this is nothing but people puppet theater. The people who choose vaccine should be happy with this choice because they are protected and want to kill the “antivaxxers”, opening up will help facilitate this goal, at least to some small degree. The angivaxxers just want to be left the fuk alone and take their chances with the virus. Seems like a simple win win solution.

It makes you wonder why there needs to be all these media campaigns, incentives, and mandates for those few while cracking down hard on censorship on those of differing opinions.
Psychological operations campaigns in the military on foreign soil are run in a very similar manner.

From what I read and hear they are afraid of waves 4,5,6 7, and the never ending economic damages. It sounds like hospitals in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Florida are getting overwhelmed as well so that is a big factor.
Depends on the side effects. I'm kinda agnostic about it. I won't be first one to get it anyways.
I hear the side effects are pretty gnarly but I would rather still get vaccinated.

Side effects are a crap shoot, some have them some don't. I have had pfizer x 2 almost zero side effects, arm wasn't really even that sore.
