What if my religion dictates my sexual preference?
What religion does that?
Like many things its not as simple as "Yes' or "No".
There are exceptions. If its not job related its an issue.
The primary time it is a violation of EEOC laws or regulations is during the hiring process. And, even then, there are times when it is acceptable.
It has to be, otherwise an employer would not be able to offer "reasonable accommodations" for religious beliefs.

Yup, well said. I would not ask about religion*, personally, but I would ask if there were any accommodations needed in order to fulfill the job duties and let that information come from the employee. That way there are no issues.
*Unless I worked for an organization that only wants certain religions and is exempt, of course.

My employer might make it mandatory to get the vaccine if it becomes FDA approved. I'll cite my concerns about the lack of trust I have in the FDA, but will likely have to use the religion out. If neither of those work, I'll be moving to Texas I think. Sucks cuz I just refinanced into 2.25% rate.

Boycott big global business, they are not needed.
Eat, sleep and train local!
Let them defund police too, it’s the best way to defend ones self and legally kill a communist, besides police will become the modern nazi soldier at some point, many are right now anyway.
No, I quoted your entire post just split and addressed it by splitting the main ideas up. I feel like I read it correctly, maybe I misunderstood, IDK I'm kinda retarded.
As it stands they CAN ask if you've been vaccinated w/o violating ADA or HIPAA. Not sure what the argument is, Tim.
What does "playing their cards right" even mean? If you're going to make your argument based on other variables you can shift any scenario to fit your argument. As the law stands RIGHT NOW asking if one has been vaccinated isn't a violation.
You're right there is no obligation to answer and the employer has no obligation to offer or continue employment. Again what's your argument here, srs?
I stopped 1/2 through my Masters so yes just an undergrad. I play by my own rules :D
I agree there is no issue asking employees, and they can volunteer that information if they so choose, but are not required to provide the information. It would be a HIPPA violation for your primary care physician to relay that info to an employer w/out your consent. The problem employers will face, is if someone was not eligible for vaccination due to a health issue allergic for example or even pregnancy if that is still in the "not recommended" list, and was terminated for not being vaccinated. Now the company has just terminated someone for a minor health issue that could have been easily "accommodated" (maybe?). I've already been involved in several ADA matters in regard to covid that might end up in litigation, its a fuking mine field right now. Very unpleasant. I've had many conversations and attended many meetings with expert legal counsel on the subject and they can't even agree on this $hit :D

Conspiracy time - imagine this was purposely released to lower the population numbers and to become beta testing lab rats for their new vaccine technology.
Sounding a little hostile towards the president there Tater. You getting enough Fibre?
"Tater" doesn't need more fiber, like most of us on this site, he's putting out plenty of BS already.
Our 78 year old president's staff on the other hand should definitely be working hard to maintain a high fiber diet! And that applies to his entire staff, not just the culinary team. Good BS'ing skills are critical for any modern president.
Think about it. Regan and Clinton were among the greats when it came to BS. They had conviction, charisma, and could think on their feet. GW Bush and Obama weren't even close, but their handicaps were on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Bush wasn't clever, and Obama was preachy. Trump was truly awful. He couldn't comprehend when what he was hearing was BS, and because of that he didn't seem to understand when he was trying to sell BS. It was pretty sad.
Biden is also very weak. Not stupid, but far from brilliant. On the plus side, he's not nearly as psychologically handicapped as Trump. I think in many ways he's similar to G.W.Bush.

I’ve been to few SHRM conferences, HR matters are not my primary job function but they are always closely connected. Always learn new stuff at them. Yeah I’d wait lol it’s a mess. Our HR people are out of their minds, they have it worse than me. At least I had bull$hit “guidance” to follow. The strictly HR side is like the Wild West right now, everyone is just burnt out. People abusing stuff, making excuses to not come back to office settings etc. Hard to force them, god forbid one of them comes back and ends up being a covid death, although that chance is pretty slim for working age people, it does happen.

Have fun living that way. Me, I like the convenience.
I own a few vehicles - 2 from the 70's, a 2010, and my current daily - a 2019 F150 which is basically a Raptor but not badged. I love taking my 70's cars out - very fun for short drives and to cruise- easy to maintain. The 2010 will be my daily next year but it's a Honda Element and doesn't have much tech at all besides sat radio. My 2019 parks itself. While its fun to relive the past I'm always reminded how awesome my F150 is after driving one of the other cars. I sure as shti would pick the F150 for any road trips.
The point being big tech doesn't bother me. If they want my info to sell me more awesome products IDGAF. I've made more money in 18 months using my IPhone than my first years salary at my first job working fulltime. In the 90's if you told the kid me what it would be like today I'd say sign me up. I'll wear that sell out badge proudly.
But you do you :)

You don’t get it. Google isn’t the Only search engine plus they and any search engine manipulates the algorithm to suit them not you,in the end, you loose out on real information.
I have an old Vista system, all it needs is new hard drive and memory, easy enough, I don’t need Googles bs manipulated bs.

I think I am going to look for another job.
Part of an email I received from my job this morning
"After careful consideration, we have decided that we are going to stick with our original decision that the MSG family of companies will be a vaccinated-only employer. Given the nature of our business and the change in the Governor’s regulations, there may be unvaccinated guests in our venues. We believe the safest course of action for all employees is to be vaccinated. Furthermore, given how easily and rapidly COVID-19 can spread, we are concerned about maintaining our staffing levels and schedules with unvaccinated employees. Lastly, we do not plan to continue our MSG testing program after August, so in order to provide the safest possible experience, vaccinations will be required. If you have not yet gotten the vaccine, please remember that you must have at least one does of your vaccine by July 12 and that your documentation needs to be uploaded into our employee vaccine portal. If you have a medical concern or a sincerely held religious belief that impacts your ability to be vaccinated, please contact your People Practices partner to discuss our process for requesting a potential accommodation"

Just use the religion excuse. That's my plan. Let me know how it pans out.

It looks like I am running out options and i will have to to succumb to big government. And even f I were to go on the ground of religious rights, I feel they would make my life miserable or ostracized me. Serious.
Those who have vaccinated, what's the safest vaccine to take or with the least side effects? Maybe the one that won't turned me gay..

#2 nothing for 6 hours, then tired/sleepy
the next morning, lethargic, 50% energy which ended 36 hours later.
shot site felt like i worked shoulders heavily, still alive, no issues.

I got my 2nd today, we were supposed to be on the same day?
This one was way better, same girl, she must be a pro now as I never knew she jabbed me, last time, I felt that thit right away.

Half of it is how they do the injection
half is how relaxed your triceps is (really really floppy relaxed as jelly triceps and it won't hurt)
and the other half is luck
(disclaimer: I'm not a mathematician)
Edit, due for my second on Tuesday (AZ)

From what I've read and heard anecdotally from the people I know, Pfizer seems to have milder side effects. I got the Moderna vaccine. First dose was no big deal. I had a sore shoulder for a day or two. Second shot was considerably worse. I felt like a had a serious case of the flu, but it only lasted about 24 hours.
