Are you against vaccine requirements in schools all together or just Covid? This was already litigated when immunization records became a thing forever ago, so if schools can require MMR why can’t they require Covid? What should be the standard?
I don’t really know what you mean.
How about 10-15 years of research from human trials first? You know like those other vaccines had.
Stirring the pot
400,000 covid deaths in 11 months under Trump who had about 1 month use of the vaccines.
300,000 covid deaths in 8 months under Biden who had 8 months use of the vaccines.
I thought that boy was gonna fix this pandemic.
This is worth reading and explains it all.
Only 6 months of protection.........

Got anymore anecdotal evidence to share Benny? I mean you have such a sterling reputation across these forums for your intellectual honesty (lmao), that I’m sure others are dying to hear what you have say (lol).

Weak, try religion stalker troll,.
Oh wait you are a* pretend religions person* or you wouldnt act like this the other 6 days of the week!
Just to reiterate, emergency use authorization is for a pandemic emergency.
If you need help I can type slower and break it down further. I know about your mental health challenges and chemical plants in Jersey.

It’s not only just me that calls you intellectually dishonest. You have earned that reputation due to your postings across the R&P and other forums.
That is a reflection upon you.
You have some thinking to do.

Ben does have a reputation for intellectual honesty, in fact, I always kinda though it was his thing. And I am generally interested in anything he has to say, even though I don't always agree.
You just seem really angry and bitter. 22,000 posts on a supplement selling site and the vast majority that I have seen are argumentative, trollish, dishonest, and angry. You should try out the "Christ" part of Christianity.

Try your character assassination techniques elsewhere.
10-15 years wait time and we have 700,000 deaths in 18 months.
That idiotic statement is a reflection on you and your lack of critical thinking. You are not allowed to use the word intellectual after the 10-15 year line.

Another way to have worded it is: 7 to 10.5 million dead.
Don't those vaccines actually work though?

During a mumps outbreak, people who have been vaccinated can still get the disease. This is especially true if you didn’t receive both doses of the vaccine. However, the symptoms and complications are much less severe in people who are vaccinated compared with those who aren’t
I'm simply not a fan of mandating anything that hasn't been properly studied over a long period of time.
For example, look at the research on vaping nicotine. The research of whether some of the materials used cause cancer still isn't 100 percent clear and vaping has been around for many years. You could vape a reasonable amount for years and have no adverse effects whatsoever, but still develop cancer later in life not knowing for sure what was the initial cause.

To be honest most of the people who call Ben intellectually dishonest simply disagree with him and don't have the intellectual capacity to explain why or to offer a legitimate counter argument. They just resort to insults or to "shoot the messenger" types of responses.

No, he clearly does not. He’s notorious for masking the facts and posting half truths. He actually used to be a decent poster, but over the last 5 years or so, he’s changed.
Looks like you’re one that has been duped by him, or a follower. Either way it’s not a good look on your critical thinking skills - or should I say, a lack of your critical thinking skills.

Still waiting for those side effects to kick in from April, I hear that they are bad so I am bracing myself this month.
Spiked proteinz are scary......
six out of every million will develop heart inflammation within ten days of the second dose.
But unvaccinated people are still at a much higher risk.
The team found that 47.5 out of every one million people who had not had their shots and underwent health screenings had the condition.

That meme is a straw man :)
They know the risk of getting infected is higher and the risk of dying or having any bad outcome is also higher, for anyone who declines the vaccine and hasn't already had the virus.

Well you may or may not know this but reporters report on newly released data, and then we as consumers consume the articles.
Finding good, reliable, accurate info on this topic is next to impossible( any suggestions) so we do the best we can.
So, if you have any non "medicalese" publications that you want to point us towards, it would be quite helpful to add to the discussions.

I am leaning more towards getting a booster after talking to a doctor friend of mine this morning. Where are the rest of you healthy middle aged men on boosters?

I saw a similar graphic about riding a motorcycle without a helmet and how you can still die from an accident while wearing one. Really made me see the light. Stupid helmetcels.

That one is tricky, Biden says everyone should get boosters, the CDC and the FDA can't agree on the topic. If you don't get your boosters you are an antivaxxer. If you get a booster, at your age, you are not following the science. So which are you antivax or anti science?

Why do you say not following the science if science seems to be split? I believe those organizations and those in medicine are simply saying they aren't necessary. Is there data the potential for AEs out weights the potential for benefit? Because there are many days I probably don't need to supplement more protein with a shake but I do so anyway.

Something like this?
https://www.healthline.com/health-news/heres-how-well-covid-19-vaccines-work-against-the-delta-variant#Key-takeaways
It's important to realize that % protection is compared to the incidence of those outcomes in an unvaccinated population. So if 1 in 100 people without the vaccine get infected and the vaccine is 35% effective at preventing infection, then you get .65 infected people in 100 (so either very short people/manlets, or 1 in 153 people *short guy ducking now*).
I think people don't understand what % effective means. We would have accepted 50% effective at the start, and we got 95%. Pretty amazing.
