I would disagree. Going to school is more than getting an education, it's about learning how to socialize with other people who aren’t necessarily of your choosing. Colleges have dorms which enforce a constant mix of people outside of school. Walking on campus, talking to people at meals, socializing between classes, people you do group projects with, probably lots more I can't think of. These encourage a passive, random socialization that many times wouldn't happen on it's own. Clubs and acitivies (which already happen) do not replace these things. Activities like this are different because they're you choosing the kind of person you want to be around.
Online only would remove an enormous chunk of one of the main benefits of college.
Sounds like the crooked political people, socializing makes people part of the cool club, people do fuked up stuff because of that type of pressure.
I know a guy my whole life, he's "the man" always grabs the mic at events, makes everyone laugh, went to a college that most governors go to. He was a big shot in the bank business, well he thought the money was there for him to borrow as he needed, where did this smart guy learn that? And of course he never spent any time in jail, just a halfway house and chit he's doing accountant work. His wife did divorce him though, only cause, well he got caught, she's a hot shot college gal too.
Ain't life grand!!!
There are so many people who don't experience the above, especially if you don't have money.
The only experience I mentioned that you might not get in CC is living in the dorm. And I didn’t have the money either and was still able to manage it. To be fair though college was a whole lot cheaper 30 years ago.
Typically it's work a job and going to a community college. I drove to a brick and mortar campus everyday after work for 2 years, took the last two years online. If I had to go back to a campus I'd be miserable.
My wife went to a community college before transferring into a four year program. She made some really great friends and tried a lot of new things at CC. She performed in a play for the first time and is still friends with the majority of the cast now some twenty-five years later. Those things probably don’t happen in an online environment.

Which college do most of the governors go to?

This thread seems to be all over the place. At any rate my Son got to college this Fall and did an online Tinder profile thing where he was looking for a GF and not into dating around. 1st girl he "matched" has been his GF for a couple months. We got to meet her, really cute, talkative, easy to be around. I doubt he would have met her in a non quarantine environment oddly enough.

Yale is one, and this college was right there with Yale.

That's great, but not everyone wants to do that. Hey I've managed fine not catching covid doing chit "my way".
btw, I know you can have great relations in college, but all I said was it isn't essential.
In online college you have to manage projects with people remotely, so I've seen both worlds. You also get real good at working with remote meetings, beats flying and traveling.

I have 4 boys, 12-15, I suppose tinder is something I need to pay attention to.

I saw a Tinder popup on a porn site, something about "meeting up for a fuk" :)
I have seen quite a bit of online discussion about universities requiring the vaccine this fall. Part of growing up is getting fuked up, when you take chit that makes you feel great and high the headaches are the aftermath, but hell at least you got smashed. Why in the hell would a young buck want to take something that does "nothing" in the "fuked up" category and on top of that makes you sick so you can barely go out and "get hammered".
You are just thinking like an old fart:)

No, you said going to college online was better. Which for you it may of been. But I had time to kill so I thought I would type out a bunch of words on why I thought it was wrong in a more general sense.

I wasted many hours in boring lectors when I could've watch the vid at home:)
Best time I had in college was the professor who said we are war with aliens and that he don't want his neighbor to think it's ok to use a human head as a soccor ball or rape a teenage girl.
He was a black guy and I and a few others would hangout after class with this guy! He told all the black guys to "put down the Freddy Grey sign and stop supporting a herion dealer" A black guy gets up asys "yo, don't be talking about Freddy like that, and left" HA HA!!!!

No, this really can’t be the best time you had in college. There were girls, right?

I was married and had a house when I was in college.
I learned the streets as a teen and I worked summer jobs, as soon as I got out of HS I worked and left mommy and daddy.

How come u decided to only have boys and not even one girl?

Ok. That makes sense. Did you go to college at 18? Or later? I left home at 16, went to college at 20 got my first degree at 27 and another at 39. Never did anything with either to be honest though.
How come u decided to only have boys and not even one girl?
At 18 I was working 60+ a week at a factory, I was a supervisor around 21 and bought a house. I went to college in my 30s when I saw that job was dying and had nothing else to shoot for that would pay the bills. I worked that job in summers I knew someone there, so social skills got me that job and supervisor jobs there.
As a teen I only worked summers under the table doing heavy labor, during school I was making money in rackets, my crew started heavy drug use, I paid thier rent and expected interest, like “the Bronx tale” as Sonny would say for a few hundred I got them out of my life for good, and that’s what happened, I started work and never looked back.

sold small amounts of pot in HS ran the streets, got in trouble alot. did construction labor and learned alot. took off in my 20's hitchhiking across the country met a random assortment of cool crazy and even really wild people, ended up in Texas and my dad got wind of the outlaw crowd I was running with paid for me to come home and go back to school lol
didn't grow up till about 28 lol still didn't turn out to bad..I ended up with an experience level most never reach

Yeah, I started that at 14 so I could smoke it for free, I showed a few 15-16 (older than me) how to do it too, next thing I know, I’m thier hookup. I quit smoking it and there was a jewelry store on our block we hung at, I was a good customer, the owner was a Russian guy, he goes “where do you work”? Lol. I said, not around here.
I understand your point. Here is an example of where this vaccine stuff is going..
Rutgers University is requiring students attending classes in person this fall to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
It is among the first U.S. universities to make such a mandate as schools begin preparing for a return to campus life after a year of remote or hybrid learning due to the pandemic.
"In support of Rutgers' commitment to health and safety for all members of its community, the University will be updating its Immunization Requirements for Students to include the COVID-19 vaccine," Rutgers' leadership wrote in a message to the university community on Thursday.
Thanks for that info. Seems ridiculous to me that they’ll be forced into having the vaccine if they want to continue their education. We don’t know yet what problems these particular ones could cause them in the future. They’re not like the usual vaccines. Hope something similar doesn’t also happen in schools. Forcing them on kids would be even worse.
Should have mentioned I also count people in their twenties, thirties and even early forties as being in the ‘younger’ age group (when on the topic of covid-19 and vaccination). I’m surprised to hear anyone in that age range would choose to get vaccinated at this point in time, especially if not vulnerable. Even if the short term side effects are manageable, what about potential long term effects further down the line. Makes it worse that it seems like the vaccines have been rushed out.
I know two people in their mid thirties. Both still quite fit, have no health conditions, rarely get ill and both likely had asymptomatic cases of covid. One is self employed and the other works from home yet they can’t wait to be vaccinated as soon as possible. They said hopefully most people will get it so everything can go back to normal again and they can travel. If it’s not required for work, I’m guessing a large number of people would be willing to get jabbed repeatedly for these reasons instead.
Had my second dose today, no issues so far.
Sheeple checking in. I got my first Pfizer shot this morning. Other than a noticeable improvement in my Wifi reception no side effects so far.

No i don’t believe the 5G transmitter is fully operational until the 2nd Windows NWO install that I get in three weeks. Once That’s in and Gates flips the switch, we all glow.

JNJ has stopped its vaccine distribution after many people are reporting some very nasty side effects.
You guys want to be Guinea pigs for their little experiment be my guest

My buddies gf has been helping others get appointments and been ocd about this vaxx stuff for the last 6 months, so i asked her about it since her husband( my best friend) got J+J a month ago.
What she told me was that the subcontractor which they use, has been having quality control issues so they threw out 15 mill and 35 million doses consecutively. I was then told that there would be a pause until they(j+j) found either another contractor, made it in house, and got fda approval.
So we have 2/3 that are ok to use, Moderna and Pfizer.

Well that sucks J&J was the only one I would have considered. J&J needs to take some lessons from Pfizer and moderna; when a few issues pop-up and people die unexpectedly from the vaccine just say “unrelated”. Maybe that whole asbestos in the baby powder thing still has them shook. :p

Helping coordinate an onsite moderna mass vaccination from local health department on Monday. Wouldn’t get any more convenient for me to get that one (they’ll come back for second dose as well) but I think I’ll wait. At this point I’d be comfortable wearing whatever random face masks I find in the parking lot to go into stores :D

Back in the 90's there was a company that made "Big Johnson" t-shirts. Each shirt told of impressive things that you could do with Big Johnson products. Typical juvenile humor stuff. Anyway, the final shirt in the line was Big Johnson bungee cords. I always thought that it was funny.
