Watch Demolition Man and look at how they want cops to act now. That's going that route too.

*Assuming* your story wasn't huge split rims.
In past I've seen people tighten lug nuts on ordinary cars with air impact wrench then go round after and check with a torque wrench (none of them need tightening further), but not for years have I seen that silliness. For a big commercial split rims... Definitely. But for someone's car?? Why??? That impact wrench tightens to a roughly known torque that is damn tight.
I think anyone who insists on a calibrated torque wrench for cars spent more time studying theory than doing a real job. Sadly, you can't reason with people like that.

This was a car plant. I also had to check the specific gravity of battery (acid) if it failed. Below 40 is passing if you ever wondered.

I don't think movies like Enemy of the State came out of thin air. I think bits and pieces of a lot of movies like that are based on some events. As crazy as that movie is for 1998, it's alarming how accurate surveillance capabilities actually were.

That is one of my favorite movies and i recall 1 line from Gene which is true to this day.

Modern brake disks are easily warped by incorrectly tightening wheel lugs, causing vibration and leading to excessive pad and disk wear. This is also true of the wheel itself. Modern wheels (rims) are easily warped.. I always use a torque wrench and refuse to take my vehicles anywhere that they do not. Torque sticks that I have used are regularly off by 10 lbs, even the best ones are off by 5 lbs.
I still drive the 96 F150 I bought in 1996, when I am not driving the 85 F150 I bought in 1993.

I'm just discovering this forum, and this is the first thread I've stumbled on. I couldn't agree more with this!!!! I never hear anyone talk about this sort of thing, but it's so true. Why did I have to come to bodybuilding forums to find people who see the world for what it is? lol

I've gotten talked into getting the vaccine, but I'm not thrilled about it. At least going for the Johnson & Johnson instead of the mRNA versions. I do have a history of asthma, and I hate to admit it, but I have gotten a little freaked out about the idea of getting COVID.

Good luck with your shot and no need to hate to admit freaking out a bit about Covid, it's a scary deal and many feel that way.
Never seen any of the Matrix movies
Dude what's wrong with you!!! :D
Watch the 1st one and skip the other 2. I wish I had some button in my brain that could reset it to right before I saw The Matrix the first time, just to relive the mind blowing I got from it. Not just from the story which is really good but the design, cinematography and effects were stuff that had never seen before. Of course it was copied so many times since then that if you see it now you think what's the big deal but trust me, it was a big deal.

He was perfect for that role. Loved that movie.
There's a great show called the black files. Some of the episodes are hit and miss, but very eye-opening especially the one on the space air flight. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12252462/

I didn't love 2 and 3 but they're definitely worth the watch, especially if you like the first one.

Being hit with multiple daily reminders that there's danger lurking around the corner will do that to a person.

Agreed. Wish I had written that.
There's a mental condition/suspicion/abomination or premonition that dates back to the greeks or even earlier where you think you're the only person in the world and everything else is just some kind of construct. The Matrix takes that 2,300 year old story and puts it to life.
Watch it, it's one of the greats in our lifetime.

Great minds think alike!
I feel society will keep going this way until it gets completely out of control, and then another Sylvester Stallone movie will become a reality: Judge Dredd.

Arthur Jones wrote about this type of stuff early on in several muscle mags. He sounded like a "doom and gloom" kinda guy, but he was right, he was speaking reality. Arthur's parents were Doctors and he read all their medical books at an early age, he didn't have good things to say about doctors.
The difference between him was he engineered and sold equipment, he didn't do or like the Weider fantasy world of selling hard bodies on the beach and a great smile:)

Just heard on the news, vaxing has gone down in my state mostly because the J and J vaxes got a recall batch, people were fainting and chit.
I agree with FLEX, you guys and gals have fun, I’ll enjoy my freedom of not being forced to fly or work again!!!

Moderna and Pfizer are doing just fine in MD, only J+J are regrouping.

Howdy all....
We just got our first shot yesterday.
Getting our second shot on 5/6.
I hear that some experienced 'tiredness' and/or periodic 'headaches' post the send stabbing.
Doesn't concern me.
Other than having a sore regional area I couldn't really feel the needle.
Must be a tiny needle...unlike the javelin sized ones used when I was giving plasma twice a week back in 1970....during the early Holocene Epoch.
Have a great weekend....

Johnson & Johnson has abandoned a previous pledge to deliver 24 million additional doses of its one-shot vaccine by the end of April

You are way too confident in the system that fails us over and over.
Too soon for anything, plus those shots do have side symptoms Bando and Supra lost taste. And you need two shots which is silly.
I continue to wake up healthy and sick free living my way.

If I’m gonna experience headaches and chills, it better be from a PR dead lift.
Not a stupid azz shot from the current medical community.

Hey his system has failed him, what can we say to argue against that.

If you’re not being forced due to your work, why would younger people willingly get vaccinated anytime soon. Even if offered it, I would hold out for as long as possible (don’t care if I won’t be able to travel) and hope a vaccine passport doesn’t become a requirement for most essential activities. Germany and other EU countries wanted vaccine passports by Summer and apparently, if the results of a certain poll can be trusted, lots of people are in support of it in Germany, Italy and the UK for travel. I’m not German but know someone who is over there. Earlier this year, they said you already needed to show some kind of pass to enter large stores where they live. COVID can cause long lasting debilitating symptoms for some people but I’m very wary about the short and long term effects from these vaccines currently being offered. There have been some serious side effects and deaths.
