Sorry to hear that PP, sounds like ya'll did ok though..
Yeah everyone that is unvaccinated was fine, wife no symptoms, son was congested for like a day. Back in the clear for this surge. We had a worse (longer) cold just a few weeks ago. I could have had the flu and covid though, who knows. I spent 4 days at a big convention downstate and nearly everyone there looked sick, was coughing etc. back to good though just got back from taking the kids on a 12 mile bike trail ride.
I took one, it’s nearly banned from the market, I’m “fully vaccinated” but “not up to date” just like everyone that took 2-3 of something else…it’s a scam but gotta do what ya gotta do. I’ll never take another.
It's ridiculous to be coerced into the unknown. To be forced to put some nowhere near fully tested DNA altering concoction into my body because I have a last realistic chance to travel internationally with my family before my son moves pretty far away for school.
I got the needle yesterday. Felt lethargic and my left shoulder was painful and a little swollen at the site. Today, I feel poorly. Tired, achy, and a headache. Not a big deal, but I'm not happy about this changing my chemistry.
As today went on, I noticed my tinnitus was blaring in my head. Terrible levels of tinnitus that are distracting and maddening. WTF?!?
So, I did a little digging, and guess what? They are beginning to find that people who took the jab may develop tinnitus or has worsened prior tinnitus. How long will this last? Is it permanent? Nobody knows. In fact, nobody really knows what the longer term damage from these shots will be. It's silly to say otherwise.
I can still get COVID. I can still transmit COVID. They are finding that some people who get the shot, then get COVID, die from COVID complications anyway. But, at least Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, and all the politicians who survive off their drippings are fatter and happier. We still have yet to find the cure for a cold.

Yeah it’s definitely all about politics, power and money. Just read that more than 40% of the deaths during the early year omicron were in vaccinated/ boosted people. At the time it was “settled science” that it was all unvaccinated people dying.
I took the needle today. Pfizer. I get another needle at the end of May. My left shoulder is sore at the injection site. We'll se tomorrow. I already had COVID. It was a tough slog. I lost 33lbs; no hospitalization. I'm being forced into this because of a desire to travel internationally. This sucks.

If you are like me with Pfizer, you get 36 hours of 50% energy then bounce back to normal tomorrow morning.

i hope you donated^^^ they only have 19 days left.
Because of the 3 month drop off in the shots effectiveness, the definition of vaccinated is very confusing when you reach month 5/6.
I think Pfizer is at 60% effectiveness after 3 months, and in addition to that, it does NOT PREVENT...... it just helps with hospitalization.
3 months ago we were at 2% now 8.5%, ugh!

Travel where potentially?
And thats the reason I got jabbed, will not stop traveling.
Whats fukked up is we have a cruise coming up and you need to be jabbed as well as boosted and even though everyone knows this is all bull$hit we still need to take a damn covid test before the cruise. Turn up positive and no cruise.

Bad timing for a cruise, they just had one where over a hundred vaxxed / boosted / tested people got covid. The numbers suggest everyone is going to get this variant just like the last one (whether they know it or not). What was weird is everyone in my house tested positive a couple weeks ago except my daughter despite taking zero precautions. My guess is she either had a false negative or is somehow immune to this variant. Case counts are going up fast and it’s only a very small number of positives being actually reported. It would suck to be on a cruise only to be locked in a tiny room.

My second shot is in a couple weeks. I'm hoping these silly shot requirements are ended, like in Greece, Iceland, etc. So silly; so arbitrary.

Michael Yeadon spent 32 years in the pharmaceutical industry as an expert in allergies and respiratory research. He was Pfizer’s head of allergy and respiratory research for 16 years. When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, he became one of the most vocal critics of lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and mask mandates. Yesterday, he said that forced vaccines were a ‘crime against humanity’ in an interview with The Epoch Times.
“It was never appropriate to attempt to ‘end the pandemic’ with a novel technology vaccine. In a public health mass intervention, safety is the top priority, more so even than effectiveness, because so many people will receive it,” Yeadon states in a document he sent to The Epoch Times.

I have seen/read physical copies of the Epoch Times and looked at the background and I consider it to be completely untrustworthy. Their whole reason to exist is to promote QAnon, anti western medicine and promote https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falun_Gong
If you find the same story from a more direct source then great. I'm not knocking the story, but I am hostile about Epoch Times as a reliable source

Going to Italy in 6 weeks. Unvaxxed. You just need a PCR test within 72 hours of boarding the plane. Then I believe you need another one coming back to the US. The proof of vax is gone over there. Same with Spain.
France is back to normal.
The only thing you can't do now if unvaxxed is take a cruise.

A chit load of people that i know, or friends and family know, are testing covid positive here in the DC region, so yeah it is back.

The restrictions for France, Spain, and Italy were still in force when I took the needle. Also, I was running out of time from when you could travel after the second shot. Damnit!!!
My plan now is still to take the second shot. I'm torn on why. Cons: I've altered my basic building block of life. I've fired up and manipulated my immune system. My tinnitus went ballistic for 2 days; I'm hoping it stays at what seem to be baseline. I'm reading more and more about fatal incidents occurring suddenly to people who took the shots. Typically, they are cardiac related.
Pros: If fully shot, I don't have to take the COVID test. I'll say a prayer for you testing negative, particularly on your way back. Oh hell, either way. (yes, being humorous here with the prayer and hell juxtaposition.)
Anyways, have a great trip!!!

As long as they are vaccinated they can not get it. Pandemic of the unvaccinated….
It was two days of fever for me, and unpleasant. My unvaxxed heathen family was far better off with it.

True, you will be able to avoid testing and that will make things easier for you. Most people are walking around fine after the shots, so there's that, too.
I am hoping I'm immune to the coldvid for a while since it just ripped through my house these past two weeks. I hope it at least gets me immune for the summer since i'm doing a ton of travel.

Honestly i think most of them were vaccinated well over 6 months ago, and we know what that means because of graphs showing vaxx effectiveness over time.......
Anyone know the latest science on how long you have immunity after suffering through covid, unvaxxed?
Hard to say with at least 6 types, and numerous accounts of people getting it multiple times.
