Why was everyone in congress who have been vaccinated wearing masks still? Did they really get the vaccine? If they did, why can't they be transparent, wats up with this "game" they are playing.
If they really believe in this vaccine they wouldn't need to wear masks, it seems like they are skeptical, which makes them anti-vaxers in reality.
Why can't anyone there, in congress remove their mask??????? What is this statement? IF they truly want people vaxed, they would say, "look, we are safe, take off the masks", why not? What do they know, what don't they know???????

At any rate I'm getting some recurrent flashes of the chills I had after my 2nd dose of Moderna. It's not serious, but like a feelz that I'm too cold and about to start shivering, but then my immune system says I'm fine and it goes away.
Just for info/perspective.
UK is announcing they are starting preparations for giving booster vaccinations for the most vulnerable group of people (very elderly, care home residents, serious health issues, etc) potentially starting end of September although it could be starting up to February next year depending on outcome of further analysis/studies on how much immunity this population is likely to still have by Autumn (the Fall). In the mix of possible vaccines being considered are Pfizer, Moderna and updated version of AZ to better protection from some variants (Brazil, Kent, perhaps India, perhaps others that arise?). Also renewed vigour on the Flu vaccination coverage.
Nothing is decided/definite here - but it gives an indication that in the UK there is an appetite to continue/boost vaccination including variations. So the approach based of "this will soon be over" has lost out to approach based on longer term management.
Also UK government believes that "vaccination passports" are inevitable, at least for international travel. Perhaps will needed for other purposes too (maybe attending large scale events?) as yet undefined.
Interesting politics to come because culturally in UK, there is resistance to national ID cards or legal requirement for carrying ID (which is accepted by population in many other countries). A vaccination card will start hitting that national sensitivity.
It is looking more likely that that [i]some[/i] of the changes of the last year will "stick" and may not be fully reversed. Many here will say "No sh!t Sherlock" and "We told you so", but remaining neutral in this post for now if it is good/bad, the above are some examples in UK of government intention of that.

I disagree that's the main reason.
Vaccination does not and doesn't claim to protect everyone from being infected by the virus (SARS-CoV-2) it just reduces the chances you catch it and also significantly improves the chances if you do get it you will develop COVID requiring medical assistance.
If you are vaccinated and you catch the virus, vaccination does not and doesn't claim to stop you spreading the virus, current studies show it reduces this (your chance of passing it to someone else in your household reduced by about 50% or so)
The above points are estimates for adult populations and don't account for the elderly who don't tend to respond to vaccinations (of any kind) very well, not obesity (studies show 40% reduction in resulting antibody levels following vaccination if obese)
Given that the population of Congress is older than average population, it's probably more important for them than normal.
The idea is that controlling the virus requires multiple measures including vaccination, social distancing, masks (to prevent spread not actually to protect the wearer), etc.

I spoke to my relative who had it really bad in NJ last March( 42 days in the garage) and she told me that she had a recent antibody test done. Her levels were still super high 1 year later, so she said that she was only doing 1 Pfizer shot to aid her natural protection. I have not seen much on antibodies 1 year later so I thought it was worth mentioning.

I mean how do people make that stuff up. I don't think this is a matter of conspiracy, it's the typical mess of government trying to maximize the perception of their competence while covering up their fumbling in order to preserve their power, electibility, and legacy. Case in point, Fauci was a big fan and investor for gain of function research that was being done in bat coronaviruses in Wuhan. When the pandemic started he was part of the team doing the "nothing-to-see-here.gif". He lied to us about the effectiveness of masks in order to prioritize them for medical facilities. I fully believe that they will absolutely downplay any possible long term risks of vaccinations if it helps with the short term optics with case numbers, the good graces of powerful donors, and with getting the economy back on track. This is not conspiracy, it is the long and sordid behavioral track record of the kind of people who lust for the positions of power that they're in.
