According to a good friend, I was trying to bubble wrap my kids getting them Volvos. She right. I did briefly consider an armored 1990's Unimog, but my wife and daughter weren't fans of that idea. Still wish Mercedes had produced the Funmogs though.
Having a previous reaction to components in the vaccine. A phobia of vaccines could count as a medical condition if you had a clinical diagnosis. Likely result in an ADA accommodation where the employer would determine if the accommodation could be reasonably made. This entire thing is a nightmare for HR folks, believe me I work with them a lot.
Santa Clara County CA mandating employers to verify vaccination status of employees may be legal but will not be without consequences. Silicon Valley already has trouble filling open positions and retaining employees, are they going to fire all non vaccinated employees? If I am not mistaken CA is around 60% vaccination rate, even if that meant a third or a quarter of people don't get vaccinated what does that mean, a company is going to replace a third or a quarter of its workforce? Good luck with that.
Also my company operates in several states including CA where I bet my left tit they will mandate vaccines, and Florida where the governor is very much against vaccine passports. So my company is going to implement a different policy for the CA employees and the FL employees? I don't know chit about HR but I can see it would be trouble.

Have had an XC60 R-Design for 2 years and love it. Also loved the styling of the XC40 but wasn't comfortable in the smaller space due to my height.
Since being bought by Geely, Volvo have further upped their styling and refinements while maintaining an emphasis on safety. From what I understand, Geely have been mostly hands off and only providing resources to Volvo.
Personally, I couldn't justify the added cost for the T8 hybrid model, but surely the T6 will be my last combustion engine car.

It will be interesting. The problem is that feelings are so strong and misguided. I think the virus will drop out of sight by mid to late June in terms of metrics. It will likely have a cyclical spike in the fall/winter, but that will be suppressed on account of economic factors. In reality, the federal government gives zero fuks if you die, as long as they look good. Optics are reality.

I got the H1N1 (bird flu) vaccine back before viral diseases were politicized and that dropped off the radar. I think with a somewhat stable (even if senile) US Administration in place, the same thing will happen.

So many antivaxxers and naysayers on the misc it’s srsly mind boggling.
I’ve already gotten the two doses but I’d like to see the work or videos of some credible people who are antivaxxers and their reasoning behind it.
All the docs I know for their vaccines and stand behind it. They told me before the vaccine was launched that mRNA has been in the works for a very long time and its safe..
So anyone care if post such videos of researchers / medical docs / phds defying the vaccine?

Either go get the shot or don't, nobody here honestly gives a rats @ss.
I hate government intrusion and feel any sort of vaccine mandate is immoral and should be illegal, that being said I got the J&J because I just know the travel industry is going to make it a requirement and there is no fukking way anyone is stopping me from flying.

Are you trolling? Do you really want that?
There are always some. If 9999 credentialed professionals say one thing and one says another, then the kooks will say "you have to listen to this one guy because he's a doctor (and ignore the 9999)". There's always one brave iconoclast who dares to speak against the nefarious cabal.

There have always been "quacks" in medicine. Because a very small minority is anti-vax is meaningless IMO, especially when their reasoning is flawed.

They jabbed me, I talked chit in the waiting room like a bitch called everyone commies, the male nurse showed up stood there crossing his arms, I told him he was nothing...........
Still they didn’t kick me out, I quietly walked in the exam room and took my jab.
If I got one, there’s no point in being dramatic for the second.
If I was as strong as Patera I’d press slam that man nurse....
Jk but I did get shot #1

That's not what your Missus said....
he was a little reluctant but she said they had a nice romantic walk to the clinic hand in hand.

Apparently he was nervous but got it done, the nurse gave him a nice big lollypop and when he wasn't looking he gave him the jab.. Tater cried.
On the way home he complained his arm hurt, that really upset his missus and they made a stop for one final purchase for Tater who was going downhill fast. Faster if he doesn't stop whining.

I’ve posted this numerous times in various threads, but DNA can actually change from viral infections. IIRC 30% of the human genome is basically junk viral genetic material that helps provide immunity. CAS9 protein (CRISPR) was discovered this way from yogurt culture bacteria that got infected and most died off. Then they look at the genetic material of the bacteria that was able to survive the “great viral plague that killed everyone else” and find that the survivors actually assimilated some genetic components into the repeating “nonsense” (technical term) portion of the genome and those are actually what help produce long-term immunity.

It's silly to read you continue to post things based upon flawed ideas due to lack of understanding of core concepts. You are obviously deep into some misinformation hole that I'd encourage you to find your way out of. It's like having a conversation with someone who believes the earth is flat.

I had the same BS as I had from my tet shot, joints were achy, head was foggy and had chills.
I hooked up my office PC, monitor (from home) installed VPN tested it, and then all symptoms disappeared.
But today at the gym was rough, both shoulders sore as fuk, squats sucked.
I did some nice strict overhead pressing with 150 for a lot of singles, everything seemed to take longer to warm up to. The jab was in my arm for too long, that chit was sore immediately, amateurs giving jabs..........

Geesh Tater I had none of that...
I went to a mass vaccine clinic they hold in the nearby town, it was very well organized. They had some nurses giving shots and I got the doc. Rolled up my sleeve and he said oh, someones a vet.. I said are you a fuking wizard or something? He chuckled and said no I see the old scar from the gun. He said this will be a breeze compared to that lol. He wasn't kidding, it was in and out within a couple of seconds and I never felt a thing. By far the easiest needle I have ever gotten and I have been stuck more than most pin cushions. Very pleasant experience.
Hope the after effects leave ya soon.

I went to my new drs office, but he didn’t give me any shots, the nurses do, the one who gave me the tet, I didn’t even know it. The nurse that gave me the vaccine she had that needle in my arm for almost a 10 count, and I could feel it, I wasn’t looking.
No real effects today except sore in the gym,the arm I got the shot in is just very sore, but it no biggie.......
I should’ve gotten it in the Dik LOL.

Pockets, I've had both shots (Pfizer) and no side effects except for a sore arm. My second shot was back in April and so far I haven't grown a second head yet :) Side effects from the shingles vaccine I had last year was way worse (chills, fever, body aches).
