I'm jabbed and boosted. Required by my employer, 1st jab, nothing, second and 3rd, terribly sick like a bad flu for 2 days.
My SIL is anti vax and didn't vax my Nephew. Probably like 2 people still here that remember my Nephew, he was active duty Navy serving in Japan and well here's that story:

So anyway he got covid and is less sick than I was from the vax.
Read that thread. Damn, sad story for sure. Hopefully he has had continued improvement since.

A few BB guru's are suggesting 3 grams of fish oil daily to prevent clotting issues, but i am not sure how that compares to regular fish oil usage.

My dizziness finally went away after 4 weeks from the booster shot. It was a nightmare.
Now they also had me stop Tylenol as I took a lot for the 4 days of fever I had with the booster shot and I had a back injury before that where I took weeks of Tylenol, so my liver enzymes were elevated. It's hard to know if it was the booster or the Tylenol or both, but I lost 4 days of my time off from work due to the booster. I really would rather not be sick like that so I don't want to take another booster.
Luckily I have not had Covid, as far as I'm aware. I keep getting negative tests.

Get ready for the next crisis, I mean "surge".
https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/bill-gates-credits-natural-infection-doing-better-job-bolstering-covid-immunity
Speaking on Friday during the Munich Security Conference, Bill Gates, Microsoft's founder and chairman, discussed how the threat posed by the COVID pandemic had "dramatically lowered"...while making a startling admission: that natural infection and spread was more effective at bolstering human immunity than vaccines.
Speaking to CNBC's Hadley Gamble during the annual conference in Germany, Gates, the co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, told the audience that a potential new pandemic would likely stem from a different pathogen than that belonging to the coronavirus family (maybe Ebola, perhaps?).
But he added that advances in medical technology should help the world do a better job of fighting it - if investments are made now.
"We'll have another pandemic. It will be a different pathogen next time," Gates said.
Two years into the coronavirus pandemic, Gates said the worst effects have faded as huge swathes of the global population have gained some level of immunity.
Its severity has also waned with the latest omicron variant.
Amazingly, after years of denial, Gates seemed to acknowledge - albeit in a roundabout way - that the infectiousness of the omicron variant had played the key role in boosting human immunity to SARS-CoV-2.
According to Gates, it's already "too late" to reach the WHO's goal to vaccinate 70% of the global population by mid-2022. Currently 61.9% of the world population has received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine) but that's okay, however, Gates said, as in many places, the virus itself, which creates a level of immunity, and has "done a better job of getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines."
"The chance of severe disease, which is mainly associated with being elderly and having obesity or diabetes, those risks are now dramatically reduced because of that infection exposure," he said.
Finally, Gates insisted that the cost of being "prepared" for the next pandemic wouldn't be that difficult. For instance, Gates said, having a mutable mRNA vaccine platform is one way vaccine-makers might be able to prepare themselves.
"The cost of being ready for the next pandemic is not that large. It's not like climate change. If we're rational, yes, the next time we'll catch it early."
He added that the world should move faster in the future to develop and distribute vaccines, calling on governments to invest now.
"Next time we should try and make it, instead of two years, we should make it more like six months," Gates said, adding that standardized platforms, including messenger RNA (mRNA) technology, would make that possible.
Despite becoming an object of public scorn during the pandemic, Gates and his foundation are undeterred: the billionaire is already plowing millions of dollars into a foundation helping to prepare for 'the next' pandemic.
Gates, through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, has partnered with the U.K.'s Wellcome Trust to donate $300 million to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations, which helped form the Covax program to deliver vaccines to low- and middle-income countries.
The CEPI is aiming to raise $3.5 billion in an effort cut the time required to develop a new vaccine to just 100 days.
The whole operation is amusing since nobody knows what the next pandemic will be.
Or...do they?
That sounds horrible. I would never get any vaccines if that happened to me. I didn't get any side effects from the covid vax but I did get from a regular flu shot years ago, and I ended never getting a flu shot after that.

For me the second shot was worse than the booster, affected my sense of smell pretty bad, bosster just made me have flu symptoms for a couple days.
I'm hoping I don't have to have any more jabs.

I was terribly sick after the second shot, too. I agree with you. My Dad had a bad reaction to the flu shot and he never got a flu shot again. We are all different in terms of how we react to these vaccines.

That's interesting that the second shot affected your sense of smell. I certainly hope I don't have to have any more jabs, either! I heard about one for the fall, ugh.

Losing your smell sounds like a little thing, but it's actually a pretty craptastic experience. I would throw out half of my dinner because it smelled like a wet dog to me though it was perfectly fine.

Thanks for reading. Unfortunately the current science (or at least the VA) doesn't have the ability to regrow a damaged brainstem. He's happy, he has a bunch of cats that he cares for. Takes a fistfull of pills daily and has to get shots to do what his pituitary gland used to do. Vision is on decline as is the rest of him. It's just a matter of time.
A true US Military Veteran, he's more worried about how his Mom will take his passing over being concerned about his own mortality.

So just as we drop masks and try to return to normalcy in the DC metro area my uncle sends me a quote from his "cutting edge" naturapath of 40 years.
This guy is super smart, like awkward, spectrum, super smart.
Another worrying variant is emerging in Denmark, BA.2 + H78Y, has appeared in recent genomic surveillance, with a mutation found on the ORF3A spike protein, which is believed by many experts to induce apoptosis in cells (cell destruction).
According to this study, ORF3A protein is associated with COVID-19s immune evasive capacities, given that this H78Y mutation is on this spike protein, this may impact reactions to vaccines and prior BA 1 infection.
Maybe our resident experts can chime in.

https://dailycaller.com/2022/02/21/centers-for-disease-control-prevention-cdc-coronavirus-withhold-vaccine-data-misinformation-covid/
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said that certain coronavirus vaccine data has not been published yet because it could potentially lead to misinformation.
The CDC published new data on the effectiveness of boosters in adults earlier in February, but left out data for 18- to 49-year-olds, according to a story published Sunday by The New York Times. The CDC believes the data is not yet ready to be released because of potential misinterpretation, The New York Times reported.
“Basically, at the end of the day, it’s not yet ready for prime time,” CDC spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund said, according to The New York Times. The agency’s “priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable.”
The CDC has published only a tiny fraction of the Covid data it has collected, including critical data on boosters and hospitalizations, citing incomplete reports or fears of misinterpretation. Critics say the practice causes confusion. https://t.co/MUldVe6RGQ
— The New York Times (@nytimes) February 21, 2022
The agency is also blaming outdated systems that are handling the large quantities of data.
“We want better, faster data that can lead to decision making and actions at all levels of public health, that can help us eliminate the lag in data that has held us back,” Dr. Daniel Jernigan, CDC’s deputy director for public health science and surveillance, said, according to The New York Times
Outside doctors must now rely on data from Israel to make recommendations on the COVID vaccine.
“There’s no reason that they should be better at collecting and putting forth data than we were,” adviser to the Food and Drug Administration Dr. Paul Offit said about Israel. “The CDC is the principal epidemiological agency in this country, and so you would like to think the data came from them.”
“We have been begging for that sort of granularity of data for two years,” epidemiologist for the former Covid Tracking Project Jessica Malaty Rivera said. A better analysis “builds public trust, and it paints a much clearer picture of what’s actually going on.”
“We are at a much greater risk of misinterpreting the data with data vacuums, than sharing the data with proper science, communication and caveats,” Rivera said, reported The New York Times.

At the time, the bird flu wasn't useful to a political advantage. Cheating is always evolving. 20 years ago, cyber crimes weren't as big an issue as they are today.
Mail-in voting "keeps us safe".
Also, even Bill Gates recently stated natural immunity is as effective as the vax.
As long as there's a benefit for the dems to keep it alive, it will never end.
Just like racism, it serves a purpose..

I am vaxxed and boosted and feel perfect, however I got out the hospital after a 1 night stay for issues revolving around my never ending battles with diverticulitus and was tested for Rona and they claim its positive. Personally i feel it's a false positive and they even told me if I have had any sort of cold in the past 45 days the test could show up as positive.
