Yes pull-up game is good, 15 pull-ups was recorded two days after vaccine, and no to the strenght loss.
Why would it make me lose strenght?
I would like to announce that I have not been vaccinatored yet. Is it white privilege or assumed as supporting white supremacy to wait? :(

No doubt.
1st shot yesterday, I'm a front line mental health care staff.
Did I want it? Not really. In this case imo its just the time to STFU and play the game before we lose every freedom we still have left.
My side delt hurt after the shot.
I was hoping for some delt growth after that phukker figuring I can suck up lots of pain for muscle growth, but to no avail I did not wake up to a cannonball on my left delt.
I guess I'm gonna have to do it the old fashioned way with site injections and synthol. :D
Vaccine can't do nothing to me. I have survived two world wars, civil war, servitude, living under Russian rule, living under Swedish rule, potato famine...in my previous lives..although potato famine may be Irish :D..
And Chernobyl in current life..what is some vacc gon do?Nothing can take me down.

Oh geez, I shoulda asked if it made ya stronger.
Our fatso governor got his shot and then went on tv to say he now feels like he can drop and give us some push ups, which he didn’t.
When I was in the Service I got this shot a couple of times

I can't recall what it was for, I have had many needles over the years and this bastard had the most pain afterwards, had a lump about the size of a small egg. My arm was dead for a couple of days, felt like it was gonna fall off. Still got the mark about the size of a dime. Had a spinal tap as well, that wasn't fun either, but damn that gun thing sucked

Basic. One in each arm. Felt like someone hit me with a baseball bat. That was the day we drew our uniforms and field gear also. Bastards.

I barely remember maybe in middle school when I gt a shot like that at school. Small pox maybe? I really can't remember.

I had 4 hours of what felt like the onset of serious flu symptoms the next morning really early (5 am) and then finally fell into a deeper sleep for an hour and woke up and the symptoms were down to just some body aches for the rest of the day.....
slept real deep and woke up the day after that and symptoms were gone..

I received my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday, I had a slight headache and shivers after the first, nothing too bad and managed a light lifting session the following day.
The side effects of the second shot are pretty similar but more extreme, not completely debilitating, but I went out for a walk around my property this afternoon, but after 10 minutes I'd had enough and spent the rest of the day in my easy chair., there's no way I could have worked out.
Vaccinated? Vaccinated against what?
I thought it's stuff like kittens which get vaccinated - at a vet?

****tropin.
EDIT: Oops, sorry, wrong reality. Best get away before the Agents emerge.
Yes, I will.
Actually, I'm more determined now, after researching, I saw a very interesting video talking about the subject
Yes, I will continue following the necessary procedures although vaccinated.

I had mine 57 hours ago, here's the timeline:
hour zero: shot
hour 5: did 15 sets of light shoulders, everything felt fine
hour 12: woke up shivering but hot and sweaty, could hardly sleep even under 5 blankets
This continued until late last night, so lasted around 35 hours.
Woke up this morning and took a hot bath and changed out of the pajamas I sweated in for 45 hours.
Laid back down on the couch, headache, worn and weak, bright sun coming through the windows, started to watch a movie.
1/2 hour later said F*uk this, put on jeans and went out and did some light painting and cleaning up, weak and creaky.
I'm 95% now, think the sun and work did more for me than any amount of laying on the couch with OJ and Ibuprofin would have.
I honestly hope everyone has a better 2nd shot experience than me, it was the most sick I've ever felt in probably 10 years.

What were you told about protocols post Vaccine?
How long before it becomes effective? Continue with Mask use etc...
I have read a bit on the topic, but I would like to know what folks were told at the immunization site.

Even the first dose is supposed to be pretty effective.
I think that this is going to be a yearly thing just like the regular flu vaccine. I don't get the regular flu shot, but because this targets older folks, I will probably do this annually if it proves successful over the coming year.
I will continue to wear a mask indoors until I feel that everyone has had a chance to get the vaccine. Mid-summer maybe.

my wife and I got Astra Zeneca first dose tow weeks ago, and were told we were getting the second dose in 4 months (thanks Justin Trudeau you ashpole)
We were told that it takes two weeks on average to start working and the protection varies with just one dose
She felt sick for about 12 hours but she's a weenie anyways, I had no reaction at all.
If you get your information from Wolf Blitzer or Hannity you are an idiot
with each injection, reaction to injection, or death, the data changes. The changes in data drive the guidance.

Future daughter in law works in labour and delivery and has delivered five babies to covid positive mothers (she can't be vaccinated for medical reasons)
do what you are told to do and you'll have no problem (as she has proven)
be a anti masking nonconformist selfish POS, and you'll make things worse ..... new variants will emerge
It's not "like" the flu and the vaccinations are not "like" each other. No one really knows for sure about immunity

Apparently he is not aware of the very real danger that mass vaccinating in the midst of a pandemic could be doing in this regard, especially with these vaccines that require multiple doses. The window of time in between the first and second doses provides the virus with a prime opportunity for immunity escape, putting pressure on it to mutate.
Article from the Lancet:
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lancet/article/PIIS0140-6736(21)00468-2/fulltext?rss=yes
Geert Vanden Bossche PhD, is an internationally recognised vaccine developer having worked as the head of the Vaccine Development Office at the German Centre for Infection Research. Highlighting the principle of using a prophylactic vaccine in the midst of a pandemic. Likely to create more more viral variants in the process.

While it's too early to say for sure one way or the other, it's certainly possible that all the low risk, healthy people who are rushing to get vaccinated right now could be throwing kindling on to the fire and bringing about something potentially worse. I honestly respect people who make an informed decision either way to get vaccinated or not, but the virtue signaling and unfounded rush to certainty about safety and risk with these vaccines is baffling, not just on a personal level, but the evolutionary impact on the global scale. We just don't know, and you are rolling the dice either way you go.

Thanks Bro.
So I have this kooky theory and with so many keyboard infectious disease experts here I thought I would bring it up.
My reaction was unlike anyone else's I have read or heard about. If you see my OP above, I doubt anyone else I heard from went to the gym and did a pretty solid shoulder sesh with a shoulder full of vaccine.
Is it possible that I "unleashed the full force of the vaccine" in a short time when it was designed to just slowly do its thing?
Follow up protocol was "exercise the arm" but I think that was written with the idea of sweeping the kitchen more than overhead presses.
I'm back to 100% just in time for work BTW

Yes, even though you did a sissy light shoulder workout, 15 sets has some volume. Basically you could have done a heavy set of deads and gotten those intense chills.
It totally makes sense, any type of DOMS and break of CNS will amplify the side effects, but no worries, it should make you stronger.

No, but it is possible that you compromised your body’s ability to “defend” against the vaccine (e.g. triggered immune response) by re-allocating its resources elsewhere (e.g. to muscle repair), though with a light workout probably not in any significant way.
Unfortunately, mild symptoms are a relatively common side effect of the vaccines. Still better than the real thing though (cue the anti-vax brigade in 3...2...1...).
