I've got to say that the article's headline-picture raises all sorts of questions I'd rather not want asked
Unable to rep that teeth lift (on spread)
Edit: 160lbs is 5lbs more than my current bodyweight (this morning scales were just on the right hand edge of the 70kg line, lets say 155?)

Just a couple of days after lowering the eligible vaccine age to those 55 and up, Tennessee is is now saying that anyone age 16 and older can now get the vaccine. Apparently, high appointment cancelation, lack of interest, and a recent slight spike in cases led to the decision. My county is currently 18% vaccinated.

You need to get over your fear. My next trip is going to be across the Atlantic. There's nothing like it. I do agree, though, that airports are a pain in the ass.

That's interesting gregg, I never thought there would be that much lack of interest. I wonder how many other states will trend like this.

Even among those who intentionally consume big-media propaganda it's only the midwits who are going along with it. the bell-curve perfectly matches the fear index - those with an IQ under 90 are too dumb to be afraid of this psy-op. those with an IQ over 110 are too smart for it.

Best thing you can do is quick put on a mask. That filters out the mind agents they release via chemtrails.
Next, so they can't communicate with the metal strip in the mask over the nose (used to pick up 5G signals and convert to neural commands) get away from any device that can send or receive information either via radio signals or that can post or read anything on the Internet. Keep away from all communication technologies.
Go completely off grid. Good luck and God's speed!

But it's weird they've started already asking about vaccination. They did at the dentist office. And this is just the beginning.
Good luck on your unvaccinated journey. No Disneyland for republican males lol.
To be very honest, If anyone asks me about it, I’m just going to tell them that “I’m immune” because well it’s not a lie if I believe that (which I do) (the last teeth lift is already making feel like it). If they need proof, all I can tell them that I’ve been out and never caught it.
But when there is herd immunity why would it matter?
The Royal Cruises only accept fully vaccinated passengers.
Question for folks who are not going to get vaccinated. Are you just never going to do anything like that? Not necessarily talking about cruises but I'm sure it's not the only thing that's going to require it.
I'll wait as long as I can since I have a healthy immune system, let others get it that want/need it more. Continue to monitor reports from people who've gotten the vaccine, possibly get the J&J at some point.
I've seen most of places around the globe that I wanted to see, so I'm in no rush to leave the country, especially if a vaccine is required. If people are that worried about it, I'll just stay in the US, because a recent trip to Hawaii showed me vacations aren't that great when many places of entertainment/food are closed and people act like a plague is going around, so what's the point in traveling at all (to those types of locations)...there's plenty of things to see in the US and plenty of areas that aren't so closed off. Planning another trip soon to nature locations.
Read a recent WSJ article discussing the repercussions if they expect everyone to be vaccinated. It's likely a lot of poorer people won't be able to get one, which hurts tourism and they (EU) might not be requiring one, but things could change. The need/want for tourism money is increasing exponentially.
France, for example is VERY skeptical of the vaccines, but i haven't looked into why that is.
Things are very different where I live. None of the gyms closed. Most restaurants and venues of entertainment are open for business. Saw a photo of local comedy club last night. Hundreds of people in the venue, none were wearing masks, not sure if they tested before hand or what. And my dentist didn't ask if I was vaccinated.
It's interesting to see people/doctors in healthcare I know react to everything that's going on. Many think it's a chit show. And these local medical centers are not requiring you to be vaccinated to remain employed and are not asking if you are vaccinated.
...France, for example is VERY skeptical of the vaccines, but i haven't looked into why that is.
Looking at slightly old data... as at March 6th they had 3.8 Million people who'd received 1 dose and 1.95M at 2 doses in a country of total population 67M
They have really not done well at their vaccine rollout and low % of population vaccinated. When their media started to put pressure on that, their leadership suddenly started publicly questioning the vaccines safety, efficacy etc. Maybe those two things are purely coincidental? maybe not?
It's one explanation anyway ;)

Not to be political but I saw a study a couple weeks ago where they said 34% of women and 49% of men who supported Trump were not inclined or interested in getting the vaxx.
So maybe they have more in some states due to the fact that many folks are passing on it.
If the numbers are true and he got 74 million votes that is a lot of vax available in red states for others who are younger to use.

Found the article I read about it. https://www.wsj.com/articles/france-once-a-vaccine-pioneer-is-top-skeptic-in-covid-19-pandemic-11610971051
If you don't have access to the article:
"Survey responses to the question 'If a vaccine for COVID-19 were available, I would get it"
France
strongly disagree - 30%
somewhat disagree - 30%
In rank, it's France, Japan, Italy, Germany, then the U.S. France says it's mostly political in the article.
"Audrey Courreges’s mistrust of new coronavirus vaccines runs so deep that she’s told the nursing home where she works, in the southern French town of Beziers, that she won’t take the vaccinations or administer them.
“I have a brain. I’m capable of forming my own ideas,” the 33-year-old nurse says. “There is some mistrust of the authorities on my part, when you see how the crisis has been managed in France from the start. Nursing home workers like Ms. Courreges, however, are proving to be a significant obstacle in the campaign. She says she isn’t against vaccines generally, but that the messenger RNA technology hasn’t been adequately tested or proven to be effective, despite the fact that regulators around the world have said the opposite.”

On one hand I feel like that's an invasion of my privacy, my employer wants us to upload an image of our vaccination cards into a database.

The bolded implies that you are a nut... Just pointing it out, not there is anything wrong wit it, I know I am a nut, get told all the time. lol
I got my snake caught in the zipper of my snow suit once. I was young and it was cold so it was still a tiny snake, Had the damn Zipper all the way up to my neck before I felt the sharp pain in the snake. I looked down and there was a piece of my little snake peeking out. I bawled my eyes out. I was only about 6 years old, but I would still probably cry now if it happened today. I didn't have the courage to unzip it myself, this old Lady heard my scream like whimpers and came to the rescue. She got me out of that jam. Old Ladies have cold hands, I learned that as well as look before you Zip up. So no I would never mistreat my snake again, so I reckon I won't be swinging weights off my Anaconda any time soon.

Good post, and very similar to my own stance. I'm not anti-vax at all, but I am pro quality science and impassionate analysis of risk versus reward trade offs. Good science is slow and spends a lot of time ruling things out rather than rushing to conclusions. I think the mRNA technology is fascinating, promising, and exciting. It looks great on paper, but it still takes time to be able to evaluate properly. I completely agree with the decision to have an emergency order to administer the vaccines, because for some groups, the risk to reward trade off for not getting the vaccine is greater than getting it. But for me, I do not see myself in one of those groups.
Some of the things that would lead me to become a more willing adopter:
1. Better data on long term risks/complications when getting covid without the vaccine.
2. Removal of impunity from the vaccine manufacturers from lawsuits (hello Astra Zeneca and your old data)
3. Full disclosure of the composition of the lipid nanoparticles used to carry mRNA into the body (currently "proprietary" and unable to be scrutinized by the larger science community)
4. Compelling proof that being vaccinated would significantly reduce spread. (Fauci speaks out of both sides of his mouth on this)
5. Compelling proof that being vaccinated would reduce the creation of more dangerous variants.
Unfortunately, without having a good grasp on the origin of covid it's going to be tough to make a lot of headway on this. If the disease truly came out of a Wuhan lab by accident doing gain of function research, it could behave much differently than a large set of assumptions about coronaviruses driving decisions right now. With so much uncertainty, I'm just not jumping on the vaccine train right now. I have not seen anything yet that tells me the risk of inaction (which is personally quite small) is greater than the risk of action (currently completely unknown).
